Last week, we thought we saw signs of progress between Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton. Porsha sent Shamea a sweet birthday message on Instagram, and it seemed like they were on their way to a better place. Then, Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 Episode 11 aired, and it definitely seems to have set them back a few steps.
During the episode, Shamea revealed how her mom and Porsha’s mom used to be BFFs. However, they had a falling out back in the day, which has left Porsha and Shamea’s friendship in a weird spot. Apparently, Porsha didn’t appreciate having that brought on Bravo.
Porsha Williams advises Shamea Morton not to talk about her mother
On the latest RHOA episode, “Let’s Be Honest,” Shamea didn’t exactly reveal what happened between Mama Morton and Ms. Diane Williams. She simply explained that the two ladies fell out, and it’s caused some awkward energy between their daughters. They used to be “two peas in a pod,” but now, they’re both cautious about their daughters repeating the same mistakes.
Before the episode even aired, Porsha took to her Instagram to blast Shamea for bringing up the beef between their mothers, as if she was supposed to avoid talking about the elephant in the room.
“Ima just say this. I’m watching the new episode @shameamorton. Now don’t take it there don’t say S**T about Diane Williams. I’ve been keeping it cute and quiet and you can do and say what you want in me, but hear me when I say WRONG ROAD!” Porsha wrote.
The RHOA star continued, “Talking about well your mom thought my mom was a friend. Knowing Gotdamn well what she did to my mom was highly egregious! Don’t do it keep playing victim and that BS. Don’t f with my MOM!”
Porsha has since deleted the post, but this exchange has us feeling extra curious about what happened between their moms. They’ve opened up a can of worms with this storyline, and now, we need to know the full context. We’re all ears, Shamea!
