Here’s what happened in Port Charles today on the General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 10, 2025.
What happened on General Hospital

Portia ran into Stella and said Trina was going to be excited to see them at her opening. Stella realized the time and said she couldn’t go, but wondered if Portia would meet Curtis there, but she didn’t know his schedule.
At Curtis’ office, Felicia updated him on how Jacinda was gone and her place had been cleared out. He was frustrated and claimed Drew must’ve known what he was up to and gotten to her. Kai overheard and knocked on the door. Felicia left, and Kai told Curtis that he heard them say they couldn’t find Jacinda. Kai admitted that he heard they were bringing her to Port Charles to help smear Drew. “I’m the one who warned Drew,” he added.
As Curtis told Kai he was meddling in affairs he didn’t know enough about, Drew walked in. He had just met with Ezra, who gave him “everything he needed to take down Sonny and the mayor.” Curtis told Drew that he knew what Kai did and accused Drew of messing with the kid’s head. Kai said he had no regrets. “You don’t have to explain anything else to me, but you will have to explain to Trina,” Curtis shrugged. Kai told Curtis he was sorry he was mad and that it all turned out the way it did, but thought he did the right thing.
After Kai left, Curtis and Drew argued. Drew recapped that he and Portia committed a crime by drugging him and then covering it up. He asked Curtis how he was the bad guy in the situation. Drew challenged Curtis to call his bluff and he’d go straight to the police, or he could do one simple thing for him: a front-page exposé about Sonny and Natalia. “That sounds like an Invader headline,” Curtis told him. Drew wanted it to be an Aurora story with an accurate account of how Sonny was held by the police for 24 hours, and questioned about Natalia’s death. He also wanted him to print a timeline of Sonny and Natalia’s relationship, and then handed him the envelope with the autopsy report he’d gotten from Ezra. He said he had more than enough to print. “And isn’t going after Sonny a small price to pay for your wife’s freedom?” Drew asked. Drew watched triumphantly as Curtis made the call and ordered the story to be published.
Laura met Marty at the hospital, and he told her he was grateful that his physical therapist managed to fix him instead of having surgery. Laura questioned his comment about “being able” to get treatment and wondered if he was in some kind of trouble. He said he was just in back pain thanks to Tracy. Laura advised him not to go to war with Tracy. Stella interrupted by asking to speak to Martin privately.
Martin thanked Stella for getting his insurance reinstated. She told him that he had to stay quiet about it or they would both be in serious trouble. Stella lectured Marty about taking better care of himself. She said it was best for both of them that he didn’t know how she may, or may not have, “finessed” the system when she did his paperwork.
At the art gallery, Ava hosted an event with photographer Joel Sartore to promote his book, Photo Ark Babies. Ric complimented Ava on her work, while Cody chatted up Elizabeth. Cody accidentally spilled wine on Liz’s shirt, and while Ric tried to wipe it up, Ava grimaced. She told Trina she should try to reach Kai and see why he wasn’t there yet.
Cody told Ava her show was a huge success, and she took him to show him some art. Trina explained to Gio and Josslyn that she didn’t know why Kai was late, but assumed he was working late. When Jordan arrived, Sidwell pulled her aside, claiming he wanted to talk to her about Sonny. Gio overheard and covertly listened in as Sidwell asked her to convince the PCPD to keep the investigation into Natalia’s death open. Sidwell suggested to Jordan that Natalia took her own life because she didn’t want whatever Sonny had planned for her in Belize.
Ric saw Ava enjoying herself with Cody and interrupted. They sparred about them both flirting with Elizabeth and Cody, and then about Kristina, and then about who needed the other more. “Without me, you’re just some lawyer with a schoolboy crush,” Ava sneered. Ric left before one of them “said something they regret,” as Cody watched.
Emma told Josslyn to find a way into the lab because he was up to something but Joss didn’t want to talk about work with her. Emma said she was off to meet Vaughn anyway. “Have fun, Emma,” Josslyn growled. “Yeah, we both will,” Emma smirked as she left.
When Jordan and Portia ran into each other at the art gallery, Jordan told her that she told Curits they wouldn’t risk blurring any lines, so they would only see each other when they couldn’t avoid it. She added that she wasn’t someone interested in involving herself in someone’s marriage and didn’t want a part of what was going on between Jordan and Curtis. “Aw, Curtis must’ve eaten that little speech up with a spoon. I’m not buying a single word of it,” Portia snickered.
Back at the hospital, Lucas gave Marco his mother’s jewelry. He was angry and insisted his mom didn’t kill herself, accidentally or otherwise. Marco didn’t care what the report said; he told Lucas he blamed Sonny.
Ezra came in and promised that he would make Sonny pay. Just then, the press burst out of the elevator, rushing at Marco and asking if Sonny was responsible for Natalia’s death. Ezra intervened to talk to the cameras, setting the scene, then Marco implicated Sonny. As Laura walked by, Ezra spotted her and asked her in front of the press if she would investigate Sonny in Natalia’s death.
Laura said the case was closed and suggested they all let it go, including Ezra. He said she was being typical, not questioning anything about Sonny. He told Marco on the air that Sonny was questioned but let go. Marco told Ezra that his attempt to exploit his mother’s death was brazen and warned he’d take legal action if he didn’t stop harassing him.
Later, Marco told Laura that he knew what Ezra was like and wasn’t surprised he’d stoop so low. Laura was relieved he could see him for who he was. Marco told her that he disagreed with his dad on many things, but to make no mistake: he blamed Sonny for his mother’s death. “And you consider that man a friend? Shame on you,” he added.
Laura responded that Marco’s emotions were skewing his point of view about Sonny and said that legally, it was a different story. “And morally? Ethically?” he asked. Laura told Marco he was truly sorry for his loss and wished him peace before leaving. Once alone, Lucas noted that Marco handled Ezra beautifully. He assured Marco that his feelings about Sonny had no bearing on their relationship and that he wasn’t going anywhere.
At Sonny’s, Carly blasted him in front of Jason for wanting to retaliate for what happened to Kristina by going after Marco, reminding him that Sidwell would have no choice but to strike back. Sonny didn’t want to talk to her about it, but Carly said their children’s lives were on the line if he started a war. Michael interrupted by calling Jason, and he took off to meet with him.
“Admit it, when you heard it was Michael, your heart stopped,” Carly snapped at Sonny.
Carly told Sonny that Marco saved Kristina, but Sonny explained this was about Sidwell and felt he had to face the consequences. Carly said he knew it was a trap, and he had to find another way to get Sidwell to stand down. She told Sonny to learn from Morgan’s death, but Sonny said he’d figure out what to do.
Carly and Sonny agreed that when they found out Morgan died, they both wished they could turn back time to change what happened. “This is your chance, Sonny,” Carly told him. “Now is that time. You have to stop the violence before we lose someone else we love.”
As Sonny paced and thought, Gio arrived. He apologized for interrupting, but Carly was leaving anyway. She asked Sonny to think about it before going. Once alone, Gio told Sonny about Jenz and Jordan’s conversation. Sonny sternly warned Gio to stay out of it and to stay away from him. He said Tracy was right and was trying to save him. Sonny said he had realized through life that he made decisions and then it was too late to protect his family, but he had to now. He told him to stay clear of Sidwell. Gio wanted to stand by him, but Sonny said the worst that could happen is that something happened to Gio because of him. He said, for now, to just please stay away. Gio cried as he hugged him, then left, reluctantly agreeing to stay away.
Michael stopped Sasha and the baby and told her that he could let them leave — alone. Sasha suggested they think of a place together. Michael said that either someone was targeting their baby or using her to gaslight her, and she couldn’t just leave without protection.
When Jason arrived, Michael told him what happened with Daisy and that Sasha and the baby had to leave. Michael agreed it wasn’t safe there for them. “Where do you want to go?” Jason asked. Jason said he would get a location secured, and then they could get settled in. Sasha thanked them both for helping and not just humoring her. Michael said he knew she was making the right decision and picked up Daisy. Sasha said she would take her back to the house to feed her. They offered to go with her, but she declined, saying that she would have the baby sleep with her every night until they left.
After Sasha walked away, Michael told Jason he didn’t know how he was going to do it. “I love Daisy so much, and now I’m going to lose her,” he said, “I have no idea when or if I’m going to see my daughter again.” He started to cry as he thought about missing out on Daisy’s life. Jason could relate and comforted him, but advised that it was the right thing to do. Michael said he promised his daughter that he would never be like Sonny; he just didn’t know he would have to make good on that promise so soon.
Carly asked Josslyn to meet her at the pool and told her that she loved her. She said she’d never ask her to live her life small, but asked her to be careful. Josslyn agreed.
