Potential Whodunit: Who Wants to Murder Cane on Y&R?

Cane invited everyone for what appears to be a murder mystery.

Someone's out for blood. Who is it?

Cane invited most of Genoa City for a good reason. He has a feeling that someone wants to murder him on The Young and the Restless. This storyline is about to turn into a potential whodunit. But who would be out for blood? Here are our three possible targets.

Enemy #1

Cane (Billy Flynn) gathered GC’s elite not for a party, but for a murder mystery. Everyone is showing up to this event, even Chance (Conner Floyd). Cane wants to get to the bottom of this mystery before it turns into a murder. He wants to know who wants to get rid of him for good.

Could it be Victor (Eric Braeden)? He wasn’t surprised that it was Cane who kept this identity going for so long. We have a feeling that these two are about to become long-time archenemies. But why would Victor want Cane gone? That’s a good question.

Case Of The Ex

Lily (Christel Khalil) probably has many more reasons as to why she would like Cane to be dead. After all, he left her and their family stranded. He’s lied to her and tricked her for years. He pretended to be his evil twin, Caleb. (This has us wondering whether Cane could be Caleb.)

We found out about Lily and Cane’s meetings in the past. Needless to say, it didn’t go down well. Does Lily have a hit out for Cane? He might want to keep one eye open at night. This would be an interesting twist we didn’t see coming.

The Forgotten Newman

Let’s not forget about Adam (Mark Grossman), even though everyone else already has. The Y&R spoilers suggested that he was going to show up at the party of the year and expose Cane. Does Adam have a clue as to who Aristotle Dumas is? Maybe he’s been keeping this secret from everyone, even Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
