Predicting Josh Allen's 2025 season stats: Can he win back-to-back MVPs?

It’s very funny that there are still people who are saying that Lamar Jackson should have won the 2024 MVP award. Those people clearly didn’t watch Josh Allen play football last season because without him, the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t have won more than four, maybe five games. Allen deserved the award more and it wasn’t even close.

I’m not saying that Jackson wasn’t an MVP candidate, but the award should go to the most valuable player who had the best impact on their team. If Jackson didn’t have Derrick Henry, then maybe he would have a better case. However, since he did, Allen was more valuable to Buffalo than Jackson was to Baltimore.

For the fifth consecutive season, Allen had 40+ total touchdowns and even with losing both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, he still managed to connect with multiple receivers for yards and touchdowns. He was nearly unstoppable throughout the season and he is going into this season looking to do more than just win another division title.

Can Josh Allen have another MVP season in 2025?

Let’s face it, Allen has bigger goals than delivering another division title to Buffalo. He wants to be the first quarterback in franchise history to win it all and if he does, he will pass Jim Kelly as the best quarterback in Bills history. He has nearly conquered everything possible in the regular season and for the most part, in the playoffs. Up next is to make the Super Bowl and win it all.

Buffalo’s offense didn’t change much this offseason. There were more additions than subtractions and Allen will have more weapons to throw to. The addition of Elijah Moore adds speed to the passing attack and Joshua Palmer can create separation. Keon Coleman is set up to bounce back from his wrist injury he sustained last season and Khalil Shakir has evolved as Allen’s go-to guy.

As long as the offensive line can continue to keep Allen protected and the weapon on the outside can step up, there’s no reason why Allen couldn’t win back-to-back MVPs and get the Bills over the hump to reach and win the Super Bowl.

Josh Allen stats prediction: 4,200 total yards, 44 total touchdowns, 10 interceptions
