Proof a RHONY Season 16 Cast Shakeup Is Coming

The Real Housewives of New York City's Racquel Chevremont recently shared an update on the Bravo series' upcoming 16th season.

"We're all still waiting to find out what's going to happen," the art curator exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills March 27, "but I believe we're going to start shooting again soon." (For more with Racquel, tune into E! News on Monday, March 31, at 11 p.m.)

But the million-dollar question is will every Housewife from last season be returning?

"I don't think so," Racquel—who was alongside fiancée Mel Corpus for the LGBTQIA+ visibility event—teased. "If I had to guess, I'd say probably not everyone."

Of course, that means there's room for some new faces to join the cast, which Racquel is very excited about.

"Hell yeah!" the season 15 newbie said, adding that fans can expect to see "maybe one or two" new women next season.

Plus, as she noted, "We already lost Rebecca [Minkoff], so we definitely have one more."

As for who Racquel hopes will return, she gushed, "I want all the women to return, I love them all. We're really good friends with Erin [Lichy] and Gabe [Lichy] and Sai [de Silva] and Jenna [Lyons], so I would love for them to return."

While no official casting announcements have been made since season 15 concluded last month, maybe fans have been wondering if both Ubah Hassan and Brynn Whitfield would be back after their devastating falling out and irreparable reunion showdown.

But while Racquel waits for cameras to pick back up, she's using her extra free time to plan her and Mel's upcoming wedding, which will be held—where else?—in New York City.

"I wanted to wear black," Racquel—who is mom to son Corey Jr. and daughter Elle from a previous marriage—confessed, "but my daughter was like, 'Mom, seriously? No.' So, still working on the colors."

As for how Racquel has felt about being catapulted into the spotlight after joining the reality show last season, she's been pleasantly surprised with her reception.

"There was definite trepidation," she admitted. "I went in and said 'yes' before watching it and the minute I watched it she was like, 'Turn it off.' I literally was like, 'What the hell did I get myself into?' I started panicking. But it all worked out. I think they were super respectful and we're just chill women trying to do our thing."

And Mel agreed.

"We wanted to make sure that it represented our relationship in a good way and, actually, they did us a favor," Mel chimed in. "They did us a solid and they did represent us very, very well. I think it's pretty accurate."
