Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby is taking his leadership beyond the locker room — straight into the lives of youth who need it most.

This week, Crosby officially opened a brand-new fitness facility at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center, a project he quietly funded and designed in collaboration with local trainers and the Raiders Foundation. The gym, fully equipped with weights, cardio machines, and recovery gear, is aimed at helping incarcerated teens build discipline, confidence, and structure through fitness.

“Discipline saved my life. When I was headed down the wrong path, football and structure gave me purpose,” Crosby said at the ribbon-cutting. “If these kids can take one step toward something positive — that’s a win.”

The facility will offer weekly mentorship-led workout programs, mental health workshops, and guest visits from Crosby and other Raiders players. Several of the teens Crosby spoke to during the launch said they were shocked someone of his stature would care about them. One shared, “He looked me in the eyes and said I matter — I’ll never forget that.”

Crosby, who has spoken openly about his own struggles with addiction and redemption, says he’s just getting started. He’s already working on bringing similar programs to group homes and underfunded schools in Nevada and California.

In a city full of bright lights and distractions, Maxx Crosby’s message is simple — show up, care, and lead with heart.
