Kristian Campbell went 2-for-5 with a walk and three RBIs in Triple-A Worcester’s 12-3 win over Norfolk on Wednesday.

The Red Sox promoted Campbell from Double-A Portland to Worcester at the start of this week. He’s 4-for-10 with a double, one walk, two strikeouts, one run and six RBIs in two games for the WooSox.
Campbell, who batted third in Worcester’s lineup both games, is the Red Sox’ fastest rising prospect. Boston drafted him in the fourth round in 2023 out of Georgia Tech and he didn’t appear on Baseball America’s Red Sox Top 30 list entering the 2024 season. BA now ranks him Boston’s No. 5 prospect. It also lists him No. 98 on its Top 100 list.
MassLive had Campbell ranked No. 25 in the system entering 2024.
The 22-year-old shortstop/center fielder is batting .341 with a .445 on-base percentage, .570 slugging percentage, 1.015 OPS, 16 homers, 31 doubles, three triples, 66 RBIs, 78 runs, 62 walks, 87 strikeouts and 21 steals combined between High-A Greenville (40 games), Portland (56 games) and Worcester (two games).
Roman Anthony reached base four times for the second straight game. He went 2-for-4 with two walks, one run and one RBI out of the leadoff spot for WooSox. The 20-year-old center fielder is 11-for-31 (.355) with one homer, three doubles, five RBIs, seven runs, four walks and four strikeouts in eight games since his promotion to Worcester.
Hunter Dobbins promoted to Worcester
The Red Sox have promoted Hunter Dobbins to Triple-A Worcester.

The 24-year-old righty had a 1.79 ERA (45 ⅓ innings, nine earned runs) in his final nine starts dating back to June 30 for Double-A Portland. He had a 3.17 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and .232 batting average against in 21 starts (105 innings) for the Sea Dogs this season.
Jedixson Paez strong but Greenville no hit
High-A Greenville was no hit by four Rome pitchers in a 2-1 loss Wednesday.
But 20-year-old Jedixson Paez had another nice outing for the Drive. The 20-year-old from Venezuela pitched 4 ⅔ innings of relief and allowed just one run, two hits and one walk while striking out seven.
