REPORT: Craig Conover Allegedly Accused Paige of Talking to Joe D’Amelio for 6 Months Behind His Back as Insider Insists Summer House Star Isn’t to Blame for “Ugly” Split

Craig Conover is allegedly under the belief that his now-ex-girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, began talking to her rumored new man, Joe D’Amelio, several months ago, prior to their late 2024 split.

REPORT: Southern Charm's Craig Conover Accused Paige DeSorbo of Talking to New Man Joe D'Amelio Behind His Back for Months as Insider Insists Summer House Star Isn't to Blame for "Ugly" Split

As one insider insisted that the 32-year-old Summer House cast member was not to blame for their breakup getting ugly, another source revealed that the Southern Charm star, 36, told an eventgoer at a recent home expo that Paige had been talking to Joe for six months.

“I sent a DM to you with a picture! My friend just met Craig in Minneapolis at a home expo and he told her that as he was walking into the expo he found out that Paige had been talking to her new man for SIX MONTHS. He said he’s happy to be busy in Minnesota this weekend,” read a report from Deux Moi on Reddit from an unnamed person.

The alleged claim from Craig is interesting as we reported last month that Joe’s ex-fiancée, Rachel Durante, whose engagement with Joe reportedly ended in November, has also seemingly accused Paige of sending inappropriate DMs to Joe for months while they were still engaged.

“During my relationship, disrespectful messages were sent to a man who was spoken for, with absolutely no regard or respect for another woman or her relationship, insinuating for him to leave me for her,” Rachel wrote on January 17 in a post many assumed was about Paige. “As my relationship went on, the banter continued, and I was purposely made to feel insecure, and my relationship was undermined.”

As Bravo fans may know, Paige has stated that she dumped Craig over Thanksgiving weekend. Meanwhile, he recently told Andy Cohen, 56, on Watch What Happens Live that they didn’t officially call it quits until mid-December.

“She was like, ‘I love you, but I love myself more, and I have to go do this and find myself,” he recalled last week. “We didn’t want different things. She just wanted other people, and that’s fine. She didn’t want those things with me anymore.”

While Craig has insisted he was “blindsided” by the breakup, the second insider said that it was not Paige’s fault that things have gotten so contentious between them.

“Don’t blame Paige for the split getting ugly,” a source told Life & Style on February 11. “She really thought they would remain amicable [but] Craig didn’t defend her [against cheating rumors], so she felt she needed to speak up.”

In addition to not speaking up when Paige was first accused of cheating, Craig also failed to defend her on WWHL.

“It’s none of my business what she does anymore. And I wasn’t part of any of the rumors,” he explained. “I don’t want to be involved. I got broken up with. I’m the ex-boyfriend now, moving on with my life.”

Southern Charm season 10 airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo, and Summer House season nine premieres tonight, February 12, at 9/8c, also on Bravo.
