When Garcelle Beauvais announced she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she made herself extremely clear. She said she was leaving the world of reality TV to focus on her real life. She wanted to be more present for her sons as they finished high school, plus she’s got a ton of other media projects up her sleeve.
For a Housewife, this exit seemed pretty cut and dry. However, some random anonymous sources are now running around claiming there’s more to the story. Allegedly, Garcelle got into a fight with Bravo before she announced her RHOBH exit. But, do we believe it? Not really.

This lukewarm tea came from OK! Magazine. They spoke to a source who is supposedly close to the RHOBH production. They claimed that something went down between Garcelle and the network, and apparently, it happened before she filmed the RHOBH Season 14 reunion.
“There was definitely an incident in which Garcelle got into it with Bravo,” the insider claimed.
This source talks about “Bravo” as if it is one singular person rather than a cable network owned by NBCUniversal. They also claimed that this “incident” involved her friend Sutton Stracke. Supposedly, the ordeal left Garcelle feeling “really pissed.”
Outside of those vague details, the insider offered no other information. That’s one of a handful of reasons why we’re taking this with a grain of salt.
If Garcelle left RHOBH on bad terms, she probably wouldn’t have been so gracious when she broke the news of her departure. Plus, Andy Cohen himself said that the door was always open for Garcelle to return. Does that sound like something he would say about a Housewife in a fight with the network?
