Days after an insider claimed that just Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania had been retained for the upcoming 15th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, another couple of sources have shut down the idea completely.
On the heels of the news regarding the potential firings of Margaret Josephs, 57, Jennifer Aydin, 47, Danielle Cabral, 39, and Rachel Fuda, 33, as well as statements from Kim DePaola, 64, who said that Bravo would be working with the three retained cast members “in some capacity going forward,” other insiders have offered opposing information.
“The recent reports about Bravo ‘retaining’ Teresa, Melissa, [and] Dolores are currently not substantiated as no official word has been given from Andy Cohen or Bravo. The only official word from Bravo has echoed the same sentiment,” one insider shared, according to Reality TV Scoop on Instagram, who confirmed that sentiment was that “no one is being kept engaged at this time.”
Also on social media, the Real Moms of Bravo on Instagram suggested that claims regarding the chosen three, Teresa, 52, Melissa, 45, and Dolores, 54, and the alleged firings of the rest of the cast were “fake news.”
While the cast has yet to comment publicly on the recent rumors, Teresa’s husband, Luis Ruelas, 50, did react with a “like” to a post complaining about the potential firing of Jennifer.
“Bravo is so stupid for not keeping Jennifer and Lina. Their friendship would be gold on TV! Lina is flying in Jersey and doing makeovers and celebrity hair, that [is] a show all on its own! Jennifer is hilarious and always has a drama for us to watch unfold. Bravo messed up so bad from the [Real Housewives of New York City] reboot and has not learned their lesson!” the post, written by Joy Rosenberg, read.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on hiatus since the conclusion of its split reunion special for season 14 in August 2024.
