Report: Mauricio Umansky’s Sister Files Restraining Order Against Father’s Girlfriend

Well, here’s a family feud for you. Allegedly, Mauricio Umansky’s sister has filed a restraining order against their elderly father’s girlfriend. The word on the street is that they got into a physical altercation, which comes on the heels of the Buying Beverly Hills star trying to get a conservatorship over their dad. Between this and Mauricio’s ongoing marital crisis, it’s like his family can’t catch a break.

You’re probably wondering why in the world you would need to file a restraining order against an elderly man’s girlfriend. Thankfully, In Touch got all of the details by reviewing the court documents.

In one corner, you have Sharon Umansky, Maurcio’s 52-year-old sister. In the opposite corner is Simin Tabibni. She’s a ripe, 68 years old, and she is dating Eduardo Umansky, Maurcio and Sharon’s 81-year-old father.

According to the court documents, Sharon accused Simin of being “verbally abusive” every time she tried to visit her father. Things reached a boiling point one day after Sharon and her dad went for lunch. Sharon dropped her dad off at his building and ran into Simin in the lobby. That’s when things went left.

“She immediately started verbally attacking me and saying that I don’t have a right to visit my father,” Sharon recalled.

She continued, “I took out my phone to record her because I am tired of the verbal abuse when she reached for my phone and yanked it out of my hand. As I was trying to get it back, she grabbed my right arm and bit me.”

Fortunately, Eduardo’s girlfriend didn’t break the skin when she (allegedly) gnawed on Sharon’s arm. However, the fight escalated as Mauricio’s sister tried to get her phone back. She refused to go down without a fight.

“She pulled my hair twice as if to try to get me to the ground but I caught myself and didn’t allow it,” Sharon wrote in her petition.

Earlier this month, Mau and Sharon filed for conservatorship of Eduardo, claiming that Simin was trying to “isolate him.” The allegations laid out in Sharon’s petition seem to echo that sentiment. For example, she said that Eduardo was hesitant to intervene in their tussle because she’d manipulate it into something worse.

“He didn’t grab her because she bruises easily and then claims that he assaults her,” Sharon claimed.

Sharon asked the court to order Simin to stay 100 yards away from her. Meanwhile, Simin hit back with her own request for a restraining order. She claimed that Sharon “grabbed” and “shoved” her during a recent interaction.

Both of their petitions are still in the air, but the real kicker is that Simin seems to be an agent with Maurcio’s real estate company, The Agency. If Netflix hadn’t canceled Buying Beverly Hills, this would have been a wild plot line to follow.
