Report: RHOA Star Kenya Moore’s Ex-Husband Marc Daly Sued and Facing Eviction

It looks like Marc Daly and his rose ring are facing some financial challenges. The ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore got slapped with a nasty lawsuit over alleged unpaid rent in his Brooklyn apartment. He’s facing eviction from his living space, and the court records show that’s just a fraction of his money problems.

When we first met Marc on RHOA, Kenya introduced him as a New York-based restauranteur. The two divorced in 2019 followed by an extra-long divorce proceeding. They finally settled their divorce in 2023, and he agreed to pay Kenya $2,000 a month for child support.

According to a report from In Touch, the following year turned out to be a financial nightmare for Marc. It all started in July 2024 when a landlord sued him over alleged unpaid rent on two businesses he owned.

Allegedly, Marc signed a lease for two retail spaces under two separate LLCs. He signed one in 2017 and the other in 2019. The landlord claimed the rent stopped rolling in, and filed a lawsuit to try to recoup the funds.

“Accordingly, at present, Defendants owe hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid rents and default obligations which continue to accrue,” the suit read.

In another lawsuit filed on October 25, 2024, the landlord of Marc’s apartment building sued him. They claimed that he failed to pay his apartment’s rent in August and September 2024, which caused him to owe a total of $9,341. So, that’s two separate lawsuits over three different properties.

The situation with the retail landlord has a hearing set for June 2025. Marc is hoping to get out of that one. However, the lawsuit over his apartment has already been settled. A “judgment of possession” was entered in the case on February 19, 2025, which means he needs to pack his stuff and leave.
