REPORT: RHOA's Kim Zolciak Owes More Than $1.8 Million in Taxes and Debt, Get the Details on Her and Kroy Biermann's Past Due Bills

Kim Zolciak is facing some serious debt.

Months after the 47-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her husband, Kroy Biermann, 39, were kicked out of their Georgia mansion, which sold for $2.75 million months prior, by U.S. Marshals, tax liens and court filings have revealed that she owes a total of $1,800,451.

On June 17, The Daily Mail shared the news with readers, noting that the amount didn’t account for any accrued interest or late fees, and explaining that $1,147,834.67 of the total was owed by both Kim and Kroy for unpaid taxes. According to the report, the couple owes $714,143.90 for 2018, $330,126.29 for 2017, and $103,564.48 for 2013.

There was also a state tax lien issued against Kim and Kroy in March 2023 for $15,104.72, which has ballooned with interest and fees to $17,610.40 in the years since.

An additional lien was filed last year for $7,972 in unpaid assessments on their former home. The total amount included “late fees, statutory interest, the cost of collection including reasonable attorney’s fees actually incurred and such other amounts that may come due and owing,” according to court documents.

Kim and Kroy also owe $231,353.61 to Simmons Bank, and Kim has numerous past due bills owed to the attorneys who worked on her divorce. As the outlet shared, Kim owes $33,191.65 to David Beaudry of Meriwether & Tharp and around $143,950.91 to Rachel Snider.

Additionally, Kim owes $2,661.09 to Target/TD and $215,876.68 to American Express.

While Kim and Kroy appear to be facing an uphill financial battle, she recently took care of some of her past money issues. As the Daily Mail shared, she owed $4,624.02 to JP Morgan Chase Bank, $156,080.64 to Saks/Capital One, and $56,224.07 to Bank of America before their cases against her were dismissed.

Although Kim and Kroy’s split had been messy and contentious in the years since their filings against one another, the couple made a shocking move in February as they filed a joint request to have their divorce dismissed.

News of Kim and Kroy’s financial troubles comes just weeks after their 23-year-old daughter, Ariana Biermann, who Kroy adopted in 2013, called them out on Next Gen NYC for taking the money she made during her younger years, when she starred on RHOA and Don’t Be Tardy.

“I have been on TV since I was five years old. I did reality television with my family, and then I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14. I was doing like three posts a week, and you get paid astronomical to do a Story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money,” Ariana shared on the series’ premiere episode. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest, there was no transparency, and I have no idea where it actually went.”

Next Gen NYC season one airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
