RHOA Alum Eva Marcille Reveals Shocking Divorce U-Turn With Michael Sterling

From lovers to exes, to lovers again? That seems to be the case for Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling.

Nearly two years after The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum finalized her divorce, she and her ex just surprised fans by sharing a video together at Essence Festival. They were all smiles and riding together in a golf cart as if nothing ever happened. She’s calling it a soft launch.

Eva and Michael tied the knot back in 2018, which we watched play out on RHOA Season 11. They dropped $350,000 on their special day, only to turn around and call it quits four years later. At the time of their divorce, Eva said their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

Fast forward to July 5, 2025, and the two were posted up together, riding in a golf cart and enjoying each other’s company at Essence Festival. While the two do share two kids, this appeared to be more than just an afternoon of co-parenting.

“Happy Essence!” Eva wrote in the caption. “I’m floating? soft launch #ganggang #essencefest.”

Eva didn’t add any further context to her post, but Housewives from coast to coast dropped into her comments, expressing their excitement about their apparent reconciliation. RHOA’s Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore commented with heart emojis. Meanwhile, Shamea Morton wrote, “Loved seeing y’all.”

When Eva and Michael divorced, she said the marriage was broken and that there were “irreconcilable differences” that tore them apart. However, we never heard any explosive cheating accusations or anything too damaging. Perhaps their differences weren’t so irreconcilable after all.
