RHOA Alum Kandi Burruss’ Husband Todd Tucker Explains Hospital Visit

Recently, Todd Tucker, aka Kandi Burruss’ level-headed husband, posted an image of himself in the hospital. Immediately, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans started sounding off, wondering what had happened to their man. Thankfully, Todd returned to his socials to explain what was going on. And the best part is, he is going to be just fine.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, both RHOA alums, explain Todd’s recent hospitalization

Kandi and Todd know how to keep their names fresh in the news. From divorce rumors to incredible life achievements, these two are machines. But Todd’s latest post left me on WTF, as his image showed him lying in a hospital bed. And all that he penned was “About last night!”

Say more, Todd.

Thankfully, he did. On his since-expired Instagram stories, Todd explained that he and Kandi were in Manhattan. They were watching a screening of Sunset Boulevard, a “dope Broadway play,” when Todd started feeling like something internal was amiss. During the play, Todd’s blood pressure was incredibly high, and as the play progressed, he started having chest pains, and then his left arm started going numb, which are both telltale signs of a heart attack.

That night, Todd kept rolling through his issues. But once Todd began rubbing his arm, his friends noticed. Once Todd explained his symptoms, “they just instantly called 911,” he said.

On her Instagram page, Kandi added, “So the night started beautifully but ended pretty rough.” Todd “thought he was having a heart attack or stroke, but he wasn’t. We went to the hospital because it’s better to be safe than sorry. He’s ok!”

Todd ended his explanations by urging his followers to listen to their bodies. “You know, a lot of the times, we think we’re alright, and we’re just like, ‘Yo, I’mma be cool, and you know…'” he trailed off, likely referring to his friends who checked his stubborn ways by ordering him to seek a medical diagnosis straight away.

Rest up, Todd. And enjoy the gift of a brand-new day.
