Brittany Eady‘s first run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta has hit multiple snags so far. The latest is that the hired decorator for her country club classic event is calling out the reality television star over claims of unprofessionalism. This comes as viewers have also ridiculed Brit for what they’re calling the worst event in the show’s history.
Fans of RHOA will recall that episode 12 from season 16 saw Brit host an event at a country club to “pre-launch” her shapewear line called Bare and Naked. However, during the episode, she stated that there was a misunderstanding about which guests were supposed to be served food and which were only to get a cocktail. Brit also accused the planner of arriving late to the event.
Recently, the account Bravosnarkside on Instagram caught wind of the decorator for the event, Filesen Bure, sharing her side of what happened. Filesen, who goes by Bella, is the CEO of Infinity Events ATL. She begins by saying, “Hi, I’m Bella. I want to address my appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where I decorated an event for Brit Eady.”
The CEO then states that she fulfilled her obligations as the event decorator, but there were a few issues behind the scenes. She goes on, “I want to be clear: I was not responsible for the food. Brittany asked me to design a menu based on her selections, and the restaurant was in charge of providing and serving it.”
Bella then discusses the venue itself. She reveals, “Secondly, the venue was not available for private use. The club was open and operating and me and team showed up EARLY not late and was moved around due to production, lighting, etc. All things that were out of our control. We overdid our job.”
Regarding the menu, Bella says, “She chose to serve small bites due to budget constraints, which she confirmed in a message. I had no control over food quantity or service, as I’m not an event planner or caterer.”
In the end, Bella also raises concerns over payment for her services, stating, “Lastly, any claims that I overcharged or misled anyone are false. I wasn’t even fully compensated for my job and was still in dispute about my balance.” She then says, “There is a clear difference between an event decorator and an event planner. Confusing the two unfairly shifts blame.”
So far, Brit has yet to respond to Bella, but this is sure to be a topic at the reunion, which Andy Cohen has said will be filmed soon.
