RHOA Season 16: Phaedra Parks Teases ‘Great Season’

Phaedra Parks has been booked and blessed. In 2017, she exited The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since then, Phaedra slayed during Season 2 of The Traitors, then signed in for Married to Medicine. She even quickstepped around the Dancing with the Stars ballroom for Season 33.

Now Phaedra is reclaiming her peach, and giving Atlanta fans some hope. After a few sleepy seasons, several cast members departed, including Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton. Maybe this blend of familiar faces, and some newbies, is the recipe for some old-school RHOA vibes.

Phaedra Parks says joining Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 was like “coming home”

Porsha Williams also returned for Season 16. However, Phaedra clocked in after Kenya Moore exited after she was suspended. Allegedly, Kenya displayed sexually explicit images of newbie Brittany Eady.

“They called. I answered,” Phaedra previously said, explaining how her comeback happened. Now she is happy to let viewers know what they can expect in the upcoming season.

“It was like coming home. If you ever rode a bike, you get back on, and it starts to flow,” Phaedra told OK!. “It was so natural to me, especially being with Porsha Williams. Frick and Frack are back! We are having a great time. But it’s going to be a great season.” The mom of two added, “It’s going to be so good!”

Of course, Phaedra also lavished some praise on the franchise’s new faces. “Also, the new Housewives are just perfect,” Phaedra stated. “They have such great energy!”  The new Housewives include Shamea Morton Mwangi, along with Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. 

According to Cynthia Bailey, while Phaedra didn’t film for the entire season, she certainly made the most of her time. “No. 1, she’s been away from the show for a while now, and I have to say she literally came in within, like, two and a half weeks left of filming,” the friend of the Housewives stated, “and did something that’s never been done before the history of Housewives.”

Fingers crossed that Season 16 of RHOA delivers fans some juicy drama!
