RHOA Star Brit Eady Faces Backlash & is Accused of Lying After Initially Denying ‘Threatening’ Kenya Moore With a Gun as Fans Call Her Out

It has been an interesting few weeks for fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The show is back for its 16th season, and Kenya Moore is being treated as a ‘friend of’ the show instead of the peach holder she was supposed to be following a blow-up with Brittany Eady.

Now, viewers have seen what led up to Kenya allegedly displaying revenge porn as a diss to the RHOA newbie, and they’re not happy with how the situation was handled.

As everyone knows, the tail end of episode four of RHOA from season 16 showed Brittany going on a rant against Kenya. She mentioned having a “pistol” as well as “whips,” which Kenya took as a threat to her safety. Still, it’s also important to note that Brit never explicitly said she would use either weapon against the former Miss USA.

Recently, The Neighborhood Talk unearthed the post Brittany made last year following the hair salon event, where she denied mentioning a gun. In the post, she said, “It’s never a good feeling to be targeted or HAZED by someone I thought would embrace me into a new circle, that I never met.”

“For the record, I’ve never once had possession of any weapons or threatened anyone ever. I’ve never even been to jail, in a fight, or even had as much as a speeding ticket. That’s not in my character. I am hurt by the narrative that’s being displayed. Wrong is wrong,” she continued.

The post includes footage from the episode, where Brittany mentions having a pistol not once but twice. The RHOA newbie also mentions having a whip. She said in the clip, “I mean, I still have my pistol.” She also said that Kenya would “learn today.”

Regarding the backlash, many people in the comments had an opinion about Brit mentioning having a gun.

Former RHOA star Claudia Jordan commented, “Ghetto!!! A pistol on housewives?? Really?? Smh! Wrong show boo!” So far, more than 2,000 people have liked Claudia’s comment.

Someone else referred to Brit’s statement from last year, saying, “She lied and she didn’t think that production would show it. Oops your bad girl. Wrong show! Production loves to drop a hot mic. Y’all owe Kenya an apology because she didn’t start it. From episode she has been picking at Kenya and Kenya was paying her dust. Bring @kenya back! She was not wrong!”

Another person said, “We need Bravo to hold Britt accountable as well for that pistol comment. She said it twice!”

Journalist Reecie Colbert also chimed in. According to her, “It’s unhinged to think Kenya calling you a peasant then paying you dust is hazing, but you calling her all types of Bs and talking about pistols and how you are gonna show her not to play with you is not threatening. Bravo should’ve fired her immediately. Bring Kenya back.”
