For months, we’ve heard that Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta got derailed after Kenya Moore allegedly showed explicit Brit Eady photos at the launch of her hair spa. Since then, we’ve just been patiently waiting to see the mess unfold on television.
In RHOA Season 16, Episode 4, an argument between Brit and Kenya quickly escalated out of control when Brit claimed she had a pistol. It was an alarming threat that some production insiders previously denied. Now that the moment has aired, Kenya took to her social media to share her perspective.
Kenya Moore reacts after Brit Eady’s gun threats are shown on RHOA
Being the longest standing RHOA member threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming.
Seeing this obsession play out is scary. I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously.
I may be strong but I’m not bulletproof. #RHOA— KENYA MOORE (@KenyaMoore) March 31, 2025
After last night’s episode of RHOA, Kenya posted a round of messages in reaction to Brit’s gun comments. According to Kenya, she wanted to feel supported by production after the threatening language she used.
“Being the longest-standing RHOA member threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming,” Kenya began. “Seeing this obsession play out is scary.”
She continued, ”I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously. I may be strong but I’m not bulletproof.”
This is a similar sentiment to what Kenya expressed last year when she confirmed her RHOA exit. At the time, the former Miss USA said that her conscience felt clear, but she needed to feel protected for the sake of her family.
“My daughter and I will continue to thrive in a non-toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected,” Kenya wrote on Instagram last year.
Next week, we’ll see exactly how things unfolded at the grand opening of Kenya Moore Hair Spa. It might also be the last time we see Kenya on Bravo.
