RHOA’s Shamea Morton and Kandi Burruss Called Out for ‘Liking’ Pro-Diddy Post

Reactions continue to pour in after the shocking results of the Diddy trial. A jury exonerated him on some of his most serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Unfortunately for Real Housewives of Atlanta fans, Kandi Burruss and Shamea Morton are seemingly a part of the minority celebrating that news. On Instagram, they both got busted liking a pro-Diddy post. Now, fans are feeling completely outraged.

A woman named Eboni Elektra originally shared the problematic post. In the moments after the verdict arrived, she posted a picture of Diddy and wrote, “PRAISE GOD.”

“GOD’S WILL… is higher than any opinion, mistake, judgment, or gossip. If this is God’s will for Puff/Diddy, then that’s His will. In the end, what we think does not compare to His will,” Eboni wrote.

Drawing on religion to praise a man captured on camera violently beating his girlfriend is strange. Kandi and Shamea throwing likes on the post? That’s even stranger, and social media has not hesitated to make their thoughts known.

A blogger named Haus of Aaron devoted a whole YouTube video to calling them out, along with a handful of other celebrities sharing pro-Diddy content. Specifically, he pointed out that these supporters were silent all throughout the weeks-long trial.

“Interesting,” Aaron began. “Where was y’all at months ago before the trial? Where was y’all at during the trial? If you were in such support of this man or against the trial, why didn’t you say that while the trial was going on?”

Meanwhile, fans on Twitter/X are ripping apart Kandi and Shamea. Plenty of people are revisiting Kandi’s feud with Phaedra Parks, where she faced accusations of drugging and raping a cast member. It’s hard to understand why the same person on the receiving end of those accusations would turn around and support Diddy.

One viewer wrote, “Give people enough time and they will tell on themselves. Kandi is a fool to like a post supporting a man who has been accused of drugging people to have sex with them. That would only cause people to conclude that she’s okay w/ it & Pheadra wasn’t lying.”

Unfortunately for Kandi, this is the second time this summer that fans have called her out for sharing controversial opinions. When Todd Chrisley received a pardon from the President, Kandi went out of her way to show her support for him. All in all, none of this is a good look, and the fans want some answers.
