Annemarie Wiley has been diagnosed with a tumor months after her exit from the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The former Bravolebrity updated fans about her health in a candid video on Sunday, September 22. She noted she was scheduled for surgery to determine if the tumor was cancerous.
Annemarie Wiley also advised fans to prioritize their mental health and avoid stress, statements that might be linked to her removal from the Bravo series.
Annemarie Wiley Will Undergo A Gallbladder Surgery
Wiley shared her health update on Instagram via a video of herself walking on what appeared to be a home treadmill. Her braids were styled into a high bun, and she visibly worked up a sweat while addressing the camera.
"Hey, guys. Lots of people have been asking. So, I just wanted to give you a quick health update. So, I have a tumor on my gallbladder and gallstone. So the gallbladder will be coming out very soon," Wiley revealed, adding:
"The surgeons were very concerned about there being tumors on my liver. So we had an MRI last week, and the MRI did not show any visible tumors or anything anywhere else."
"So that was incredible news. Surgery is scheduled for very soon. Gallbladder will come out," she continued, noting it would be sent to pathology and investigated to determine if the tumor is "cancerous, malignant, or non-cancerous benign."
Wiley Says She's 'Optimistic' About Her Results
Instead of fearing the test results, Wiley confessed she was "super optimistic" and claimed surgeons felt the same. She promised to keep fans updated before concluding the video with a message about mental health.
"And I just wanted to say prioritize your mental health. Like stress does horrible things to our bodies. Stay off social media. Work out, meditate, yoga. Like, whatever it is that you do to manage your stress, prioritize it," Wiley stressed.
"Because nothing is more important than our health," she concluded. The former "RHOBH" star echoed similar sentiments in the post's caption, imploring fans to "remove toxic situations and people" from their lives. Wiley also thanked fans for their support, partly writing:
"I can't even begin to express how much your love and support mean to me. I'm feeling strong and optimistic that this journey will soon be behind me with a positive outcome."
Fans Wish The Former Bravolebrity A Speedy Recovery
Wiley's health update touched the hearts of her fans, who penned their well wishes in the comments. "Thank you for the update. Glad you're having surgery soon. Before long, you can put this all behind you! Be well!" an IG user wrote.
"Sending you love and light energy and praying for a positive outcome in your health journey," another supporter added, while a third penned: "So well said, mama- prioritize your health! Sending you so much love and good energy!!"
"Your content is so inspiring and helps me so much. My favorite housewife ever," a fan chimed, with a fellow admirer adding, "Sending you positive vibes and prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery."
This isn't the first time fans have supported Wiley as they gathered in her defense following her removal from the "RHOBH" series. The Blast reported the TV personality expressed her disappointment after being fired from the show.
Wiley Aired Her Disappointment At Bravo
Wiley addressed her removal from the reality TV series in March, airing her grievances with Bravo on Instagram. "I just got word today that I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she began, adding:
"To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and asked me to be on it out of the blue, 6 weeks after the cast had already started filming."
The media personality, married to former NFL star Marcellus Wiley, lamented that she couldn't show fans her unique love story. Had she remained, this aspect of her life would have been depicted in the show's 14th season.
Annemarie Wiley Wished To Display The Beauty Of 'Black Love'
While reflecting on her plans for "RHOBH" season 14, Wiley confessed: "It was an important mission of mine for the next season to show a solid Black family unit and that true Black love exists, even in Beverly Hills."
Additionally, the former reality TV star hoped to share her struggles with fans, including the profound loss of her mother to lung cancer and navigating through the complexities of adoption trauma.
As stated, fans were equally displeased by Wiley's removal from the show and called out Bravo for kicking her out. One commenter claimed:
"You deserved to have another shot! WOW. Super disappointed in @bravotv @bravoandy. I guess the key to staying on the show is giving ZERO."
