arcelle Beauvais joked that she was forced to eat her words after Kyle Richards showed up to an event in the same dress that she was wearing.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared the details during a March 2025 episode of the “Sherri” show while talking about a cast trip to St. Lucia. A photo also flashed onscreen of Beauvais and Richards wearing the identical strapless white dresses with feathery embellishments.
After host Sherri Shepherd asked Beauvais what happened, the “Black Girl Missing” star shared the story. “What had happened was they told us the first night is going to be a white, you know, white dress night,” Beauvais said. “So I go to the store, I see this dress it was kind of expensive. I’m like do I do it, do I not do it? I put it on [and] everybody at the store is like ‘You got to get it, you got to get it.’ So I buy the dress and then Kyle shows up in the same dress.”
Beauvais continued, “And then someone said, ‘Didn’t the store tell you that she bought it?’ And I was like, ‘No they didn’t, but she borrowed it from her daughter!”
“[Expletive] stole my look,” Beauvais cracked.
Garcelle Beauvais Admitted She Had to Eat Her Words
In a scene from the RHOBH episode set to air on Bravo, Beauvais joked that she was eating her past words about Richards’ style. In a confessional, she said, “Okay that’s right, I did call Kyle’s style hideous in the past …and now I’m eating those words because I’m twinning with her. She’s come a long way,” Beauvais joked.
Beauvais posted a photo from the night to Instagram that showed her and Richards modeling their identical dresses. “When you buy a dress that you love and show up and someone else is wearing it lol #B—-StoleMyLook @kylerichards18 #rhobh.”
Fans hit the comment section to note that both Bravo stars looked great in the dress.
“You both look really beautiful in that dress and I couldn’t possibly say who wore it best. There’s no contest. Both look stunning,” one fan wrote.
“I’ve been trying to figure out who wore it better, but you both look beautiful,” another fan agreed.
Kyle Richards Previously Wore the Same Dress as Lisa Rinna
This isn’t the first time Richards has twinned with a co-star. While filming season 11 of RHOBH, she arrived for a Paris-themed luncheon at Sutton Stracke’s house wearing the same dress as her co-star Lisa Rinna. Richards accessorized the black and white polka-dotted Rotate Birger Christensen dress with a black hat, but that was the only difference between the two looks.
Richards posted to Instagram to note that the matching designer dresses were a complete coincidence. “When you’re feeling good about your outfit and then your friend walks in feeling equally as good about hers,” Richards captioned a pic of her and Rinna, before clarifying, “No, this wasn’t planned.”
