Kyle Richards said something that happened during “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 14 reunion was “very surprising.”
During an Amazon Livestream on March 4, the RHOBH addressed the reunion taping that took place four days prior. “Friday we shot the reunion and that is always extremely stressful and draining,” she shared. “And all of us end up in bed for two days after.”
“The reunion was, oh my gosh, I heard Andy [Cohen] announce it’s going to be a three-parter, which does not surprise me,” she told fans.
When asked to describe the sitdown in three words, Richards replied, “It was emotional, intense, and very surprising. Surprising in that I was like, ‘Where the hell did that come from?’”
She also teased that fans would have to watch to see the biggest surprise at the reunion. “I’m going to let you guys wait and see and then you’ll know exactly what it was,” she teased. “But I also love how everybody is so ‘brave’ coming after you in their interviews and then when they’re called out, they’re like ‘oh yeah.’ How about be who you are on camera, the same person you are when [you’re off]? That would be helpful.”
In addition to Richards, the 14th season of RHOBH starred Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and newcomer Bozoma Saint John. Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton were “friends of” the cast this season.
Kyle Richards Felt ‘Way Better’ After the Reunion Taping
Richards had a rough RHOBH season amid her separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky and her fractured relationship with Kemsley. She was repeatedly called out for her text message thread with Kemsley’s estranged husband, PK.
“I personally left there feeling way better because my character was so attacked this season and I really felt like everybody was coming at me from every angle. And I was able to clarify a lot of the things that were put out there that weren’t true and I was upset about,” she told fans of the reunion. “So that made me feel better. I felt better leaving the reunion. Not everybody did, I can tell you that much. Not at all.”
Richards laughed off a commenter who noted that Stracke didn’t seem happy after the reunion. She also told fans they’d have to “watch and see” how her friendship with Kemsley panned out post reunion.
Andy Cohen Said the Reunion Was ‘Satisfying’
Bravo host Andy Cohen described the RHOBH reunion as “very satisfying.” On March 3, he gave his review on his Sirius XM show “Andy Cohen Live.”
“Friday was the Beverly Hills Housewives reunion, which for some reason I think I thought it was going to be good, but my expectations were relatively low,” Cohen told his radio audience. “It was very good. It will be three parts. We shot until 9 at night. And this is going to be a quite satisfying reunion for people.”
On his Instagram stories, Cohen gave the reunion a five-diamond review and teased that there was “something for everyone.”
