RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley Reveals What “Activated” Her Amid Fight With Kyle Richards, Accuses Her of Prying & “Deflection” as Kyle Questions if Dorit Has Any “Morals at All” & Defends PK Friendship

Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards engaged in a screaming match on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And after the show, they looked back on their tense encounter.

Dorit Kemsley: Kyle Richards' relationship with Morgan Wade affected our friendship

As Dorit, 48, explained her heated reaction to her discussion with Kyle, 55, who continued to communicate with her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, 57, after their separation, and Kyle accused Dorit of using their messages as an excuse for her behavior, other members of the cast, including Erika Jayne, 53, Bozoma Saint John, 47, Sutton Stracke, 53, and Garcelle Beauvais, 58, reacted to the feud.

“Once again, her thinking that she can just scream at me … In that moment I was like, ‘Oh, you have no idea. I will f*cking scream right back at you. This is not a tactic that’s going to work anymore,'” Dorit recalled on the January 7 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “I needed her to know that. That’s why I got activated, and I would do exactly the same thing today. And tomorrow. And the following day.”

Looking back at the drama that played out between them, Dorit noted that she and Kyle had turned a corner before their fight.

“I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and give her a chance to tell me, rather than me make assumptions. I was very surprised by the answer and the reaction — so surprised that it actually made me think things that I wasn’t thinking before,” she continued of Kyle and PK’s messages.

Meanwhile, Kyle suspected that her communication with PK didn’t actually bother Dorit.

“She’s been looking for a reason to justify her behavior towards me, so this is a perfect situation for her to zero in on,” she shared. “I have been asking her — because she would not take accountability for her actions towards me — I kept saying, ‘What have I done to you?’ And she kept giving these blanket, vague answers. She didn’t have one thing that she could actually point to … [So] she had to find something.”

“She was trying to create things out of nothing, and I really didn’t appreciate it. At that point, I thought, ‘Do you have morals at all? We’ve already been making up and now you gotta come up with something else?’” Kyle asked.

But Dorit didn’t agree with Kyle’s reasoning.

“It’s deflection. Oh, please. ‘You’re just looking for another reason to get mad at me?’ It’s all so ridiculous,” she declared.

Also reflecting on Dorit and Kyle’s dispute, Jennifer Tilly, 66, and Erika recalled the ladies “lunging for each other” as Garcelle said she thought they were going to get physical.

“I’ve never seen anything like that,” Garcelle admitted. “I thought after that night, their friendship was over or it would never be the same.”

Then, after Erika said she was “surprised” things got so bad, she noted that there would be a place of “no return.”

“Oh, it’s that,” Kyle replied.

During another moment of the RHOBH: After Show, Kyle admitted that her DMs with PK did seem to violate girl code as Bozoma questioned her behavior.

“Team Dorit. That’s the only answer you can give, sis. That’s it … Sorry. Anybody that has a different opinion about that I’m like, ‘So what you doing?’ If you want to defend that position, I’m like, ‘There’s something that you’ve done that is probably questionable,’ because there’s actually no excuse,” the newbie stated.

Still, Kyle signaled her past friendship with PK, noting that they’d been friends for 10 years.

“PK is not only my husband [Mauricio Umansky]’s best friend, PK makes a big effort. He’s more outgoing in that aspect,” she explained. “[But] obviously I would side with the women always … Of course, it looks like I’m breaking girl code, but anyone who knows me knows that I am one million percent a girls’ girl.”

While Dorit suggested that Kyle would’ve felt differently had the shoe been on the other foot, Kyle mentioned that Dorit knew her — and PK — better than that. She then described him as “one of the girls” and doubled down on her claims that Dorit doesn’t really care about their messages.

Dorit went on to accuse Kyle of prying about Mauricio as she alleged that Kyle told her estranged husband that she was no longer “allowed” to talk to PK.

“Do you think for one second, in separation, when PK and Mo have had dinner, Kyle’s not been on the phone to me asking what little nuggets I have?” she asked.

As for the rest of the cast, Sutton agreed with Dorit that the women shouldn’t be contacting their friends’ ex-husbands and Garcelle said Kyle “was in the wrong.”
