RHOC Star Emily Simpson Says Gym Workout Schedule Is ‘Almost Obsessive’

   

Emily Simpson has been providing comedic relief during this season of Real Housewives of Orange County. It’s hard to believe that Emily and Gina Kirschenheiter aren’t the newbies anymore – they’re vets in their own right. When Emily isn’t peaking through windows to eavesdrop on conversations or cracking jokes about Shane Simpson, she’s most often found in the gym, working on her killer bod.

Emily has been candid about her weight loss during RHOC Season 18. She credits her look to a little bit of Ozempic, a little liposuction, and a whole lot of working out. In the latest episode of RHOC, she spoke to Shannon Beador about her all-consuming workout schedule.

Emily is obsessed with working out

In the latest RHOC episode, Emily modeled for a boudoir photoshoot in honor of her weight loss journey. “I’ve done this before, when I was heavier, like probably 40 pounds heavier, and I had a lot more confidence,” she explained.

Then, she discussed how often she works out to maintain her physique. “I’ve gotten to the point where it’s almost obsessive,” Emily explained. “I work out every day, and Shane’s like, ‘Why don’t you take a break? Why don’t you have a rest day.’ And I don’t. I feel like it’s a little bit of an internal battle.” She credited her compulsion to being afraid of “going backwards again.”

In a confessional, Emily explained a bit about her relationship with her weight which contributes to her obsessive workout schedule. “I mean, I’ve never been thin,” Emily said. “I think there’s a lot of pressure being in Orange County. Everyone seems to be healthy and fit and young. It’s really like a mind f-ck. It really is.” You can’t argue with that. Sending nothing but good health to Emily regardless of how much time she spends in the gym.
