RHOC’s Emily Simpson Admits She’s Seen Shannon Beador Being Rude to Crew Member, Reveals What a Love Hotel Producer Told Her About Joel Kim Booster Drama, and Fires Back at Host, Plus Confirms She’s “Team Shannon”

Emily Simpson admitted that she’s seen Shannon Beador mistreating staff following her drama with Love Hotel host Joel Kim Booster while appearing on Scheana Shay‘s podcast on Friday.

As she also confirmed she’s “Team Shannon” and slammed Joel, 36, for his unprofessional behavior toward her castmate, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed what she learned from a producer of the Peacock reality series and shared if she’d ever seen Shannon, 60, being rude to a crew member.

“Yes, but that was a long time ago,” Emily said on the October 18 episode of Scheananigans, via Instagram. “It’s been many, many years since I’ve seen or witnessed that.”

As RHOC fans may have seen, Joel accused Shannon of mistreating staff last month and labeled her a “pathetic drunk” before ultimately offering a public apology.

“Honestly, for the past, I would say four or five years, I’ve seen her be nothing but overly generous, like cooking for the crew, including them in things,” Emily continued.

She also spoke to a producer about Shannon’s demeanor amid filming on Love Hotel.

“I also know a producer that was on the show with her and I asked him, ‘Was Shannon, like, out of control?’ And he goes, ‘No. Absolutely not,’” she recalled. “And I believe this person. I think it was very unprofessional for the host of a show to go onto Instagram and blast a cast member about an upcoming show and say the things that he did. I thought that was completely out of line and unprofessional.”

During another moment of the podcast, also via Instagram, Emily said that she was “Team Shannon” before season 18 began airing. This was mainly due to the treatment Shannon received from Alexis Bellino, 47, who returned to the show after striking up a romance with Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 62, who she got engaged to in August.

“I was Team Shannon when we were filming. I wasn’t just Team Shannon because the viewers were Team Shannon. I was Team Shannon when we were actually filming the TV show, not knowing what the viewer reaction would be,” she explained. “[Gina Kirschenheiter] and I were Team Shannon the whole time before we ever knew what was gonna happen because when we were in it, we were like, ‘What the f*ck? This is too much.'”
