RHONJ Alum Lauren Manzo Addresses Claims Her Parents ‘Pay for Everything’

Lauren Manzo is one of those second-generation Bravolebrities that have stayed enough in the spotlight long past her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey to have to respond to haters. Her mother, Caroline Manzo, was a star cast member from Seasons 1 through 5. The family had a spinoff show, Manzo’d With Children, as well.

And over a decade after leaving the RHONJ, the newly divorced entrepreneur still gets hate from those questioning the family’s finances. More specifically, if the second-generation reality TV star still gets help from her parents who made their fortune off the thriving New Jersey restaurant, The Brownstone.

Lauren Manzo calls the claims her RHONJ-famous mom Caroline Manzo and dad “pay for everything” “so crazy”

Lauren took to TikTok this week to respond to a hater that suggested that the RHONJ alum took the nepo baby route. The troll wrote, “Well, I know she has her parents to pay for everything, but I at least thought she would have had some kind of job. Prob at the Brownstone.”

“All right. This is just crazy. I’m so sick of these comments. Because my parents don’t pay for anything for me. Yes, when I go to dinner with my mom, she pays for dinner. I pay my own mortgage. I own a salon,” the RHONJ alum stated.

Lauren opened Fullblown Blow-Out & Beauty Lounge at the age of 28. Not to be confused with Cafface, which RHONJ saw her open with Caroline as a partner.

She continued, “So when we go to dinner with my mom, first of all, I always say ‘What do you need? Do you need something?’ She’s like, ‘No, I don’t want your money.’ I have her over for dinner about once a week. And I’ll say, ‘This is what I have in my fridge, what you want to make?'”

Such are the dining habits of mother and daughter. They make sure to utilize whatever Lauren has in her fridge. She added, “And then she’ll say, ‘Oh I’m gonna pick up broccoli on the way. We’ll have broccoli on the side. And we’ll make the chicken that you have in the fridge.’ Great!”

Lauren then responded to claims she works at her parent’s restaurant to pay her way. Certainly, that would be the easier route to go over running her own business. However, there are rumors as to the financial stability of The Brownstone of late.

“I don’t work at the Brownstone,” she revealed. “I would, but I don’t wanna take the time away from my daughter. Also, I have a full-blown business. I own a salon. It’s literally called full-blown. I have my own business And it’s successful. And we do well. I employ thirteen people. And I also do social media to make money.”

The online trolling is getting to the former reality TV star. She incredulously concluded, “So crazy. This is so crazy. But I’m just so sick of it. I shouldn’t give it life.”
