RHONJ cast ‘divided into two groups’ as they reunite for ‘watch party’ – instead of reunion

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast were split into two groups as they reunited for a watch party. Instead of filming a reunion, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice couldn’t bare to sit near each other.

A much-anticipated reunion won’t be happening this year, but The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast did meet up to watch the Bravo show. After the drama of last season, it was a pretty tense watch party.

RHONJ cast reunite for ‘watch party’

On June 15, the RHONJ cast met at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, New Jersey, to record a “watch party,” according to Variety. The infamous steakhouse is where they all had a huge fight in the recent season.

The watch party is expected to air one week after season 14 wraps on August 11. RHONJ’s reunion followed comments made by Andy Cohen, who said the show will be given an overhaul.

It comes after Melissa claimed the show had become “really toxic,” to which her friend, Jackie Goldschneider, agreed. She even admitted the cast needs to have a serious shake-up.

Melissa and Teresa were separated

Team Teresa and Team Melissa were the two groups at the watch party, reportedly viewing the show in separate rooms. Groups were divided between feuding sister-in-laws Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.

Team Teresa featured full-time cast member Jennifer Aydin, along with Giudice’s former enemy-turned-BFF, Jackie Goldschneider, who has a friend role on the Bravo show.

Team Melissa Gorga, the group included Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral and friend of the show, Jennifer Fessler. Neutral castmate Dolores Catania rotated between two groups.

Fans slam Dolores for ‘sitting on fence’

Dolores Catania has chosen not to pick sides between the Melissa and Teresa feud. At the watch party, her rotating between the two groups to watch the separate viewings has sent fans into fury.

One viewer said, “Whose genius idea was it to have Dolores go back and forth?,” while another penned, “Dolores needs to stay with Marge and Melissa room because we know that’s where she belongs.”

While a fan thinks Dolores “deserves a bonus” for remaining neutral, there was one commenter who wrote, “Dolores reportedly went between the two rooms sent me she’s unbelievable man.”
