The Real Housewives of New Jersey is reportedly getting an alternative reunion special — and fans online aren’t happy about what it will allegedly entail.

Weeks after Bravo canceled the season 14 reunion amid ongoing tensions prompted by the estrangement of Teresa Giudice, 52, and Melissa Gorga, 45, an insider has shared that the ladies will be featured in an extra episode of the season that will see them dishing about what transpired amid filming on the finale.

”On July 15th, the alternative reunion will be filmed! The two sides will watch the finale scene at Rails separately and provide commentary,” RHONJ Obsessed announced to their followers on Instagram on June 29.

But right away, as seen in a June 30 post from Reality B*tch on Instagram, viewers of the long-running series made it clear they were less than impressed.

“Sounds dumb as hell. Reminds me of BravoCon … and to think these women claim to be ‘strong’ but [can’t] sit in a room with each other,” one person wrote in an Instagram Story, signaling to the RHONJ cast being split into two panels at the fan convention.

Reality B*tch also included a message from Kristin Eftoski, which read, “They are doing a reunion. Separately. No men. They are scrambling. They don’t want to put this group together for fear of what else might come out.”

Meanwhile, in their caption, Reality B*tch made it clear they were also not excited about the news regarding the alternative reunion.

“Looks like we’re getting more than them watching the final episode. How [do] y’all feel now since there’s a ‘reunion but separate’? I don’t like it tbh lol a lot of y’all make good points in the comments yesterday saying that these girls won’t be [held] accountable on either side if they’re going to do a separately,” the outlet noted. “They’re just gonna spew their sh*t, twist things the way they see it and they’ll be no closure/accountability from anyone.”

Meanwhile, in the comments section of the Instagram post, a number of other fans weighed in.

“Their egos have officially become too big for the show,” one person stated.

“Could you imagine going to work and saying you refuse to work with someone because you have an interpersonal conflict with them. The [audacity] of these people,” shared another.

“Time to cancel this show. It’s not entertaining in the least,” demanded a third.

“It is ridiculous that they can not sit in a room and speak to each other with Andy there. If they can’t do it, then end the show. No reunion, no new season,” someone else agreed.

In a poll conducted by The Real Housewives Zone on Instagram, an overwhelming amount of their followers said they were either “okay” with the idea or felt it was “terrible.” Only 16 percent were on board with the season’s alleged ending.

RHONJ Fans Aren't Happy With Alternate Reunion

In other RHONJ news, Margaret Josephs, 57, and Rachel Fuda, 33, recently spoke out in defense of castmate Danielle Cabral, 38, whose fight with Jennifer Aydin, 47, was featured on last week’s episode.

“The truth is Jennifer really pushed her much harder than I ever thought and really was the aggressor in that situation,” Margaret told Page Six on June 27. “And Danielle had a knee-jerk reaction, which I think nobody would have. When I saw it play back, I was like, ‘Wow.’”

During a Tulum-themed party thrown by Teresa, Jennifer shoved Danielle after accusing her of trashing her hairstylist and Danielle fired back by hitting Jennifer in the head with a plastic cup.

“Danielle was in my space like that the year before,” Margaret recalled. “I didn’t push her like that. That did not happen between myself and Danielle.”

Rachel also doesn’t feel Danielle was to blame.

“Danielle did what anyone in this group would do. If someone shoved you with such force, you’re cracked in the head,” she said, noting that she wasn’t surprised by Jennifer because she felt the behavior was in alignment with her “antagonist” persona.

“Based on Jennifer Aydin’s track record of aggression and lack of boundaries, what I heard and what I saw were really the same thing. That’s my expectation for Jen,” Rachel explained. “She likes to be the antagonist. She likes to push people’s buttons. She knows how to push them and see how far she can literally push them.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
