RHONJ Season 15: Time To Clean House Or Keep The Chaos?

Last August, the ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey reconvened to watch their Season 14 finale episode from two different rooms. And then, ahead of filming on RHONJ Season 15, this series received an unsurprising pause.

Episode 14 of Season 14 was interesting. This cast was at war, so these fancy meatballs could not even gather in one place to film a typical reunion with host Andy Cohen. Instead, they had to gather at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ, divided into two party-sized rooms. As they watched their finale episode from their separated bunkers, opinions flew, proving there was no way forward with this cast.

Almost a year has passed since their cameras went dark. And still, we have received zero official words about the status of this series. We believe it is time for the network to make this call. Love them or not, this in-between place is (almost) causing more toxicity than their series did.

Why was RHONJ placed on a pause following Season 14?

There are a million (estimated) reasons why RHONJ is currently on an extended pause. First, sisters-in-hate Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice refuse to film alongside each other. Their contempt is so strong that they have both acknowledged they would rather walk away from filming them sign on to another season as a package deal.

Since Melissa and Teresa are fan favorite Real Housewives stars (with their respective fan bases), their refusals have left production stuck. To help create a cohesive series, the cast often has to film as a group. Therefore, either one of these women has to go, or they both must change their stances on their returns to filming. But if they cut one, their fans might pop off and refuse to watch RHONJ Season 15, which is not great for the ratings of this longstanding series.

Due to this feud, their cast stands divided, which has led to toxic scenes, physical altercations, and even rumors of leaked screeners to the bloggers, as certain cast members allegedly tried to get ahead of their RHONJ Season 14 storylines. Once leaks form, contrived, toxic storylines are born, taking all the air out of what should have been a natural evolution of drama. Overall, the toxicity is just too high on RHONJ for this series to continue as it was, hence the pause.

The toxic fans need closure to help them stop firing their online missiles against their least favorite RHONJ cast members

Fans of this series live in three separate camps. Two of these camps include the word team, meaning that the fans are either team Melissa or they are fans of her sister-in-law, thereby labeling themselves as team Teresa. If you stand with one, you likely loathe the other.

As for the other category, a smaller section enjoys all types of drama, knowing that series like these are here to entertain us, not consume our personalities. This section is NOT for these types of viewers.

As for those who find themselves rooting for one team or another, we get it. But, within this subset, a smaller fraction of toxic fans have formed. And their vitriol reached horrific heights during RHONJ Season 14.

ALLEGEDLY, as teased above, Teresa and Jennifer Aydin spoke with various fan accounts ahead of this season. In these rumored chats, they reportedly encouraged these bloggers to partake in smear campaigns against the other team. For her part, however, Teresa denied this claim.

Nevertheless, Jennifer sang a different tune, admitting on Watch What Happens Live that they all speak with bloggers. Meanwhile, as we sit here and await the fates of this cast, certain bloggers, aka toxic fans, remain active and heated online, spewing out hateful accusations and rumored false leaks on how this series might proceed. These tainted fans need closure. And closure can only come from this network making a call with their whole chest about RHONJ Season 15.

This cast also deserves answers about RHONJ Season 15 to help them decide their next steps

As frustrated as we all are that no decisions have arrived, none of us can be more annoyed than this cast. Jennifer, Melissa, Teresa, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and friends of the cast, Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider, also need the network to make an official call about RHONJ Season 15.

Several of these ladies have outside careers. But when they film on RHONJ, Bravo provides them with decent paychecks. They also score heightened opportunities for appearances and sponsored ads during each season. For many of these ladies, these extra prospects add a decent bump to their bank balances. And in this economy, this is nothing to sneeze at.

Speaking of sneezing, some of these cast members are now growing louder than a simple little achoo. No longer caring about ticking anyone off, Melissa recently called on the network to “make a decision already. Cast the d*mn show. Let us know who’s in and who’s out so we can keep it moving.”

Fans agree with Melissa. Whatever this network decides, they should do it quickly. Otherwise, RHONJ Season 15 might lose some of our longtime favorites to other series.
