Margaret Josephs will be “fine” if she’s not asked back for “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” next season amid rumors of a cast shakeup.
Speaking with Us Weekly in a March 2025 interview, the Bravo veteran said that while she would of course “love” to go back to the show, which is currently on “pause,” she won’t be upset if she’s replaced. “If it’s not me, then that’s fine …I have a beautiful life,” Josephs said. “If that’s what the Bravo Gods want, that’s fine for me. I’ve had a great ride.”
Josephs has been a cast member on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” since season 3. The 14th season of the Bravo reality show also starred Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, and “friends” Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler. The series is currently on “pause.”
Melissa Gorga Is Also at Peace With Whatever Bravo Decides

Josephs isn’t the only longtime cast member who is okay with whatever producers decide for the next season. During a July 2024 episode of the “On Display With Melissa Gorga” podcast, Gorga said she would like to go back to RHONJ for another round, but understands that it may not happen amid last season’s cast divide.
Either way, I think that … we’ve shown a lot of our lives and I’m happy to continue showing it,” she said of her family. “And I’m also happy with the memories that we made. So I feel like we’ll be at peace either way.”
Gorga also told Page Six she’s “excited for what’s to come” with RHONJ. “I think we are due for some type of change,” the Envy boutique owner admitted. “I don’t know what kind of change, but I am excited to see what happens. I am excited to see what’s next and where this show goes from here.”
Dolores Catania Wants the Cast to Stay Together

Catania also shared her opinion. In an August 2024 interview on Sirius XM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” she noted that “everybody has an expiration date as a Housewife, it is not a forever thing.”
But she admitted that she was not ready for her time as a Jersey Housewife to end. “I want my cast together. I want everyone together,” she told Lewis. “It’s not over ‘til it’s over. I love my job. We’re still a cast … until we hear differently, which we haven’t. We have only heard they don’t know.”
