RHONJ Star Says She’s Looking Forward to Filming Again Amid Hiatus

Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania are hoping they will be able to film for the series again.

Dolores Catania.

Giudice invited Catania and fellow RHONJ personalities Jennifer Aydin and Kim DePaola on the December 18 episode of her podcast, “Turning The Tables.” While recording the podcast episode, Giudice asked her guests what they are most looking forward to in 2025. Catania replied that she was hoping RHONJ would return after season 14. As fans are aware, the series is currently on hiatus.

“I’m looking for new doors to open. Like there’s a lot — well, I would love for our show to come back. Really I would,” said Catania, who began filming for the series in 2016.

Giudice replied that she also would like the series to return.

“I second that!” said Giudice.

Catania interjected that she was “going to put it out in the universe that [the RHONJ cast] come[s] back.”

“I’m going to say that I am looking forward to filming again,” said Catania on the podcast episode.

Dolores Catania Said She Will Remain Grateful for RHONJ Even If She Doesn’t Return to the Series

Catania mentioned the RHONJ pause during an August 2024 episode of Jeff Lewis‘ radio show, “Jeff Lewis Live.” She said she was “gutted” about the situation. She also clarified that she will remain thankful she was able to be an RHONJ star, even if her contract is not returned for future seasons.

“I’ve always say, no matter how our expiration date happens — because everyone has an expiration date as a ‘Housewife’ — it is not a forever thing, I would leave gracefully with a lot of gratitude. Because this has done so much for me. Did I ever belong to be on TV? … But how did I get to this beautiful life? So I was always grateful every year,” said Catania to Lewis.

Andy Cohen Reacted to Questions About RHONJ After Season 14

While speaking to Us Weekly in November 2024, Catania said she is “a realistic pessimist” about her future on RHONJ.

“I’m just being very Italian and being like, ‘Ah, it’s over. It’s done.’ But I say that every year. I, every year, thought I was never coming back. That’s just me being, if you want to say humble, if that’s how you want to call it. Or not taking it for granted,” said Catania to the publication.

Us Weekly also reported that Bravo producer Andy Cohen told the publication that fans will not know if the RHONJ cast will return or is headed for a reboot for quite some time.

“You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking. And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking!” said Cohen while speaking to Us Weekly in December 2024.
