Rachel Fuda revealed that her baby boy’s birth date was meant to be.
Less than a week after giving birth to her son, Lorenzo Antonio, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star shared her birth story as well as a new video to introduce her son to the world.
Fuda and her husband John welcomed baby Lorenzo on February 19, 2025. The couple share three other children: A son Jaiden, 18, and daughters Gianella, 4, and Giuliana, 2.
Rachel Fuda Picked the Perfect Date for Her Baby to be Born
In a video posted to Instagram on February 24, Fuda revealed that she had her third c-section to deliver baby Lorenzo. She noted that when she scheduled her c-section she was insistent on being her doctor’s first appointment of the morning on February 19. “I’ll get up at 4:00 in the morning, you do what you need to do, and my baby is here by 8:45,” she said in the video clip.
Fuda then shared that she started having intense labor pains as she was being admitted to the hospital for the scheduled delivery. “I actually started having contractions while they were admitting me into the hospital. I was contracting, I was actually in a lot of pain,” she said.
“The nurse was like, ‘Well even if you weren’t scheduled today your baby was meant to be born today,’” Fuda said. “Which was amazing and so meaningful because he was born on John’s grandfather’s birthday, which is so special to us.”
According to People magazine, in addition to being born on the same day as his great-grandfather, Fuda Tile founder Joseph Fuda, baby Lorenzo’s middle name, Antonio, is in honor of Rachel Fuda’s late grandmother Anna Del Vescovo as well as John’s late grandmother Ida Fuda, who prayed to St. Anthony during her lifetime.
