Dolores Catania is a staple of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The muscle of the Garden State has made sure to ride the fence for years, but calls the other women out when she sees fit. But with Bravo taking so long to decide on the future of RHONJ, rumors are starting to swirl that Dolo might be packing up and heading to the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
Bravo source hints Dolores Catania might make a move from RHONJ to Real Housewives of Rhode Island
It seems the Ocean State might be getting one more resident. But I can’t imagine Dolores would give up being a Jersey girl – we have beaches here too! That said, over the last few days, rumors have begun to swirl regarding the mother of two’s possible jump to the new franchise. The Deux/U podcast had a few insightful breadcrumbs after first throwing out the idea that the Real Housewives of Rhode Island would be dealt a significant twist. The host told listeners, “If you guys have been keeping up, you will remember me saying that the news isn’t that big – but the twist is. The twist is: I had heard from a couple people now that Dolores Catania from Housewives of New Jersey is moving to Rhode Island and is going to be part of the Rhode Island cast.”
The insider went on to explain, “To me, the twist meant more regarding what does that mean for New Jersey? As for Rhode Island, I heard it’s going to be Providence. That’s the city in Rhode Island. I received an anonymous email breaking down all of the women who are going to be in the cast of Rhode Island.”
Could RHONJ’s Dolores Catania get along with a new Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast?
The insider confirmed, “This person says: ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island from a real, RHODY girl. Now that the new season has been announced, let me give you the tea on the rumored cast. Let me start off by saying, Rhode Island is extremely small. And this cast is like 99 percent confirmed via word of mouth and huge social media context clues.’”
Providence isn’t too far off from a Bergen County, NJ feel. Both are very affluent communities. Dolores wouldn’t have a problem fitting in with the new Bravolebs. It can also be assumed she is already friendly with one or two confirmed cast members if she is willing to make the move across state lines. The source added, “‘I personally am connected to a couple cast members. Liz McGraw – late 40s; her and her husband own a dispensary in Providence and are very wealthy. She’s a little older than some of the other girls, but considering her wealth and popularity in RI, she should be good on [it.] I’m also connected to Rosie Woods – early 30s.”
Bravo is taking too long in making a decision about RHONJ
Even though Dolo has confirmed nothing herself, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are now extremely nervous. The network has taken its sweet time trying to decide what will become of the beloved franchise. And frankly, it feels like they are missing out on a lot of juicy drama. Teresa Giudice has found herself in tax trouble again, and even Dolores has had a health scare that could have been filmed.
At the time, Dolores shared on her social media, “AFib is atrial fibrillation … You’re a walking stroke. You can have a stroke. So many people just ignore that. So I’m telling everybody, if you get those flutters in your chest, go see a doctor.” Currently, the Real Housewives of New Jersey is still on an indefinite pause with no Season 15 in sight. Fans have heard conflicting reports, with one noting the network had an entirely new cast. But then another report surfaced sharing that only half the cast would be axed. Whatever is going on, Bravo needs to gain back control or fear losing one of their best assets.
