Jacqueline Laurita and former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Lynne Curtin underwent facelifts and neck lifts together earlier this week in Southern California.
After also getting CO2 laser treatments, which remove the top layer of skin and promote the growth of new cells, the 55-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shared a couple of videos as she and Lynne, 68, recovered from the procedures.
“Happy Cinco de Mayo! My 5 hour surgery went great with [Dr. T. Y. Steven Ip] here in Newport Beach! SO FAR I can’t feel a thing! I feel great!” Jacqueline wrote in the caption of a May 5 post on Instagram, which featured her with a bandage wrapped around her head and breathing tubes in her nose.
“I’m still waiting for the other half of my face to wake up that was worked on last. Should be soon!” she continued. “That’s why it’s not moving yet! Lol! I’m doing my exercises of rotating ankle rolls 10 directions each way and lifting my knees up and down to keep the circulation going. I have Aquaphor on my face and I’m keeping my head up and straight forward. This is a great crew here! Everyone has been excellent! Catheter will be removed tonight and my oxygen has already been removed. My drains will come out tomorrow and I’ll get to go home bright and early!”
Jacqueline also shared that Lynne had been rolled in next to her as she thanked her fans and followers for their support and teased of future updates on their recovery.
“I want everyone to see the reality of how this process goes and how we heal!” she explained.
“Everything went fantastic,” Jacqueline added as she also included a photo of herself in her hospital bed with a drain filled with blood on the side of her head.
In another post, Jacqueline was seen at her home with Lynne on the “day after” their surgeries.
In the clip, Jacqueline explained that they were experiencing swelling from their CO2 laser treatment, which both Tamra Judge, 57, and Margaret Josephs, 58, have undergone in the past.
“How do we look? What do you guys think?” Lynne asked.
Also in the video, both Jacqueline and Lynne mentioned that they were not in pain.
“I have not taken one pain pill this entire time. It doesn’t even hurt,” Jacqueline stated.
“I’m not sore at all,” Lynne agreed.
