RHONJ’s Luis Ruelas Described as ‘Malignant, Covert, Passive-Aggressive Narcissist’ by Ex-Fiancée

It’s safe to say that Luis Ruelas hasn’t been that well received on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. And even though Teresa Giudice seems to have fallen for the man, it doesn’t mean fans are following the trend. Presently, Luis is back in the news after his ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, described him as “malignant.”

Luis Ruelas is back in hot water

While speaking on The Gaslight Effect Podcast hosted by Dr. Robin Stern, Vanessa opened up about her time with Luis. The failed businessman wasn’t the best boyfriend, it seems, as listeners learned that their relationship was allegedly filled with narcissistic abuse. This included “manipulation, love bombing, gaslighting, and isolation.” Vanessa noted that these terms are considered “domestic violence.” Vanessa is more than just an ex-fiancée. The New York native is a licensed clinical social worker and the author of Narcissistic Abuse. She is the founder of a teletherapy company called Tell a Therapist, which helps others heal from the trauma of narcissistic relationships.

Vanessa claimed that Luis had the classic tactics of a narcissist, which were “designed to distort reality and erode the victim’s sense of self.” During her interview, Vanessa pointed out a few red flags for these types of people, adding that they are “all addicts. They are addicted to attention.” While dating Luis, Vanessa shared that it was very confusing for her as she “couldn’t process the lies.” Vanessa used the term love bombing to describe her relationship, which consisted of “lots of compliments.” The day Vanessa chose to leave Luis was after she had been asked “to be intimate for the fourth time. And I thought, ‘This is insane. There was no satiating this individual.” Luis’s ex noted that every 14 days, there was a big falling out, saying it “was so exhausting to deal with the stress of that. People without empathy are hazardous.”
