RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga to Star on Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition

There’s still no word on what’s happening with The Real Housewives of New Jersey. In the meantime, it sounds like Melissa Gorga is making her way back to Bravo. The network recently announced a new show called Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, and one of Melissa’s former castmates says that Melissa will be a part of it.

It should come as no surprise that Kim DePaola is running around blabbing about the Real Housewives spinoff. She has made a hobby out of spilling insider tea about RHONJ. She pretty much does this on a monthly basis, and we sincerely appreciate her efforts.

The last time she came up on our radar, she said Bravo retained three of the ladies from RHONJ. The rest were effectively let go and given the freedom to pursue other opportunities, like harassing employees at Jersey Mike’s.

This time, Kim spoke OK! Magazine about the upcoming Wife Swap spinoff. The show will have Real Housewives trading places with regular people. Kim said that Melissa is a part of it.

“A few months ago, I said that three of the women from RHONJ were given promise letters to show the network was still interested in them,” Kim explained. “I can tell you, officially, they executed on one of those letters by giving Melissa a spot on Wife Swap.”

Kim’s tea didn’t stop there. She also teased that the series is currently filming, so Melissa is in someone’s house right now, feeding their children sprinkle cookies. That also means that there’s someone in Melissa’s house, living like the Queen of Franklin Lakes with Joe Gorga by her side.

With zero shame, Kim also claimed that Melissa got $125,000 for this gig. It’s good money, but Kim said that she would never do a show like this, just in case anyone was wondering.

“As far as Wife Swap goes, good for Melissa, but you couldn’t pay me enough money to do that,” she told the outlet. “I wouldn’t leave my dogs to go live in somebody else’s home.”
