Kristen Taekman is back on TV after almost a decade as part of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip : RHONY Legacy.

Despite her relatively short stint on the original Real Housewives of New York City, the model has become an unexpected fan favourite on the spin-off.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 46-year-old said she's keen to return for more seasons of RHONY Legacy if Peacock decides to continue the franchise.

'I would definitely be open to it. I think we've got a lot more in us,' she said.

'I think it would be fun to pull from a couple of other girls, like keep the six that we have and maybe add a couple of more to spice things up a little bit. So yeah, why not?'

She added, 'Who doesn't want to go on vacation? But can we please stay in warm places? Or how about a ski trip?'

As for who she'd like to see join the Legacy cast, the Calabasas-based beauty hinted that the outrageous Aviva Drescher could be the perfect fit.

'I always really liked Aviva,' she said of the leg-tossing socialite.

'I think she'd be a great addition to one of these shows, and we all have to remember why Aviva probably wasn't invited to this show because originally, remember, she could not get on that flight with her husband!' she said.

Despite being part of the original RHONY, Kristen has thrown her support behind the recent reboot of the popular franchise.

'I love the new reboot. I think it's the best thing they could have done. I think it's young and fresh, and I think it really portrays what New York City is all about,' she gushed.

'I met a lot of those ladies during BravoCon and they are so lovely. I don't think they need anybody else. I think they're just getting started. I think they just need a couple more seasons for us to really get to know them more,' she added.

Whether or not she'd join the reboot cast herself, Kristen admitted that her new life in California would make it difficult.

'Listen, I would never say never. I'd be honored to be a part of any of these great casts but I live in Los Angeles, so I don't know how any of that would work,' she said.

During her time on RHONY, Kristen ended up clashing with the likes of Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel.

And while she was able to mend things with Ramona during RHUGT, Kristen also revealed that she buried the hatchet with Bethenny years ago.

'Yes, Bethenny and I, we definitely butted heads during Season 7 - my last season and her first season back,' she said.

'It ended up that we lived in the same neighborhood in New York and our kids actually ended up going to the same school, so believe it or not, I would see her pretty much in the schoolyard every other week,' she continued.

'So yeah, Bethenny and I are good. She had said she thought I'd be a great addition to the cast, I thought that was very nice.'

Outside of RHUGT, Kristen says she's focused on modelling, social media influencing, and motherhood.

'I would love to be a spokesperson for some brands. I did some QVC for my husband's brand EBOOST during the pandemic. I would love to do something like that,' she explained.

'I feel like certain brands that I work with I get really passionate about I think that would be fun but my kids still need me, so I'm still doing the mommy/housewife thing, so right now I'm good.'

As for more TV in the future, Kristen teased, 'We'll see what happens.'
