Real Housewives of New York City alum Ramona Singer thought that A-list actress Emma Roberts was just a fan in a hilarious interaction.

Singer, 68, took to her Instagram Stories to open up about the interaction. “So guess who I ran into!” the Bravo star told her followers as she panned the camera over to Roberts, 34, in a since-deleted clip, according to Page Six. “She wanted to say ‘hi’ to me. I said, ‘Not now!'”

Roberts chimed in to explain that she's a “big fan” of singer before she shared her side of the interaction. “She said, ‘Get away! No!'” the Maybe I Do actress explained as she mimicked Singer’s reaction, in which she put a hand up to display a “stop” sign.

Once Singer realized her mistake that Roberts wasn't just a fan, she said that her daughter, Avery Singer, helped her “fix” the situation.

Avery, 30, got in on the story as she entered the frame and recalled telling her mother, “You need to immediately go fix it because you have no idea who you just shooed away.”

However, Avery ended up taking the situation into her own hands and approached Roberts herself. “[I said], ‘Excuse me, I really would like to apologize on behalf of my mother,'" she said.

The clip ended up Roberts insisting that she had no hard feelings against Singer. “Now we’re BFFs — all of us!" she said.

Singer and Roberts opened up about the interaction just one week after the American Horror Story actress and Matthew McConaughey were spotted talking over Gillian Anderson during an event at Paris Men's Fashion Week on June 28.

A clip shared on TikTok showed McConaughey, 55, leaning over Anderson, 56, to engage in an animated conversation with Roberts. While both McConaughey and Roberts seemed in good spirits, social media users couldn't help but notice that Anderson's smile quickly faded throughout the conversation.
