Real Housewives of New York City” star Erin Lichy is coming to “The Kardashians” personality Scott Disick’s defense.
In a December 5 TikTok upload, Lichy shared her thoughts about Kristin Cavallari calling Disick’s recent messages to her “manipulative.” Lichy shared that she has been friends with Disick for many years.
“I’m feeling like I need to weigh in a little bit. Like it’s bothering me. I actually grew up pretty good friends with Scott. We were in the same group. Especially in the Hamptons,” said Lichy.
Lichy also said that she recently saw Disick at a wedding.
“He’s a great guy. Like he’s not a bad person,” said Lichy while filming her TikTok video. “Based on what [Cavallari] was reading, I’m so confused how that’s manipulative. Like it sounds like a nice person reaching out.”
She then referenced that both Disick’s parents, Jeffrey Disick and Bonnie Disick, died when he was in his early 30s.
“The guy went through a lot. He’s not a bad person,” continue Lichy.
Lichy also said she believed that Disick just “wanted to be friendly again” with Cavallari.
Kristin Cavallari Read a Message From Scott Disick in November 2024
While recording the November 24 episode of her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” Cavallari decided to read a direct message she said was from Disick, as reported by Page Six.
“Hey!!! It’s been such a long time, it’s crazy. Kind of crazy how our lives ended up being kind of similar,” read Cavallari, as reported by Page Six. “I feel like it would be so good to see you. And catch up and talk about the things you’ve got to go through with kids and changing your life around over and over. I really miss you though and wish I would have reached out earlier just been busy trying to be the best dad I can be. I don’t have time for much but trying to think about myself a little bit again. Trying, anyway. Hope to hear from you. Just text me so it’s easier to chat.”
After reading the message, Cavallari said that she believed it was “classic textbook manipulation control [expletive].” She also said she has a history with Disick and his ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. According to Cavallari, she and Kardashian were friends until she spent time with Disick while in Las Vegas following their short 2011 split. Cavallari also said that she believed Disick was responsible for rumors that they were romantically involved, which she said were untrue.
“I know for a fact [he did this] to piss off Kourtney. A lot of times when a girl sees that a guy has moved on, they’re like, ‘I want him back.’ … And it worked. They got back together,” said Cavallari on her podcast.
Erin Lichy’s Father Died in November 2024
Lichy announced that her father, Eliahu Yitzhari, died in November 2024. Lichy spoke about her father’s passing in a November 2024 interview with Extra. She said that she believed she was “still in the fog, denial phase” of grief.
“I’m just going through the motions right now,” said Lichy.
She also said she was appreciative of her RHONY co-star’s support.
“Everyone, my friends, my family — that makes me like emotional to even think about. Because all of them have been so supportive,” said Lichy to Extra.
