Jessel Taank is having difficult conversations over expanding her family due to her not being able to conceive naturally and requiring IVF.
Jessel Taank joined the ranks of the Real Housewives of New York cast last year. The dynamic fashion publicist and energetic mother of twin boys struggled throughout the season emotionally and physically. The reasons behind this were that the boy mom was looking to expand her brood by one which involved sharing her difficult conversations surrounding IVF.
Jessel Taank opens up on difficulty conceiving baby ‘naturally’
Jessel and husband Pavit Randhawa are already parents to twin boys Kai and Rio. During the RHONY season 15 premiere, the reality-star couple discussed whether to use one of their embryos to undergo IVF and expand their clan.
On a matter that seemingly was left undecided, Jessel opened up to People about the physical challenges of getting pregnant through IVF and how this shaped the perspective of the conversation.
Taank said: “I think the conversation is really not easy because I have to go through the motions of IVF to conceive.
“I wish it was easier for me, but it isn’t. And so sort of conversations surrounding having another baby, it just comes with a lot of [effort] because I just can’t get drunk and get knocked up naturally.”
The temptation of having “another Jessel” is overshadowed by the challenges that IVF holds for the Bravo star.
“So as much as I wish I could because it would make this so much easier, you’ll see us navigate what that journey looks like and what that path looks like,” the 44-year-old added.

Whether Jessel gets to share her difficult journey or not, fans have welcomed the new star to the show, saying: “We needed her.”
An Instagram video from BravoTV gives a sneak peek to the new season. Jessel and costar Sai de Silva are shown taking a truly cold plunge in order to lose weight.
Both ladies look glamorous in their bathers as they submerge themselves in the icy tub. What comes out of their mouths is slightly less glamorous, as they curse each other out in a hilarious act of mutual support.
Jessel hysterically added at the end of the clip: “I don’t feel thin, by the way. I didn’t lose any weight.”
Contrasting the freezing tub-temperature, a fan commented: “I’m warming up to Jessel this season! She’s so hilarious.”
Seems fans find the star super relatable, one shared: “Jessel is so me coded, love her!” While another added: “Jessel’s reaction is so real.”
