Lichy’s hosting skills have been showcased on RHONY—who can forget her famous cheese board in season 14?— but the show is currently on pause, and her status for season 16 is unknown.

RHONY Season 15 featured Lichy,  Ubah Hassan, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, and Jenna Lyons Racquel Chevremont, and Rebecca Minkoff.

Erin Lichy Has Been Working on Her Book For a Year

In a post to Instagram on May 8, Lichy shared a video of her and her family in Times Square. In the clip, they pointed to a billboard announcing her new book, “She’s a Host.”

Another shot gave fans a look inside the stunning coffee table-style cookbook.

“I can’t believe the day has come!! Over a year in the works, my book, ‘She’s A Host,’ is now available for preorder!!” Lichy shared with fans. “I share so many intimate childhood stories and family recipes that are not only delicious and unique but tied to the fabric of my being. As a host, I share entertaining tips and tricks to make the process feel easy and seamless. Everyone can be a fab host!!”

Lichy noted that she took a page from her design background to curate a beautifully photographed cookbook that doubles as a coffee table book.

Erin Lichy Said Fan Reaction to a RHONY Scene Inspired Her Cookbook

Lichy opened up about her new book in an interview with People magazine.  The mom of four told the outlet that a scene on RHONY, when she prepared one of her signature Israeli dishes with her co-stars, helped spawn the idea.

“I think I got the idea when I realized that people really cared and loved my shakshuka recipe,” she explained. “It was just such a great response, and people were saying how they didn’t know what shakshuka was before I had posted it.”

“I kind of felt compelled to share a lot of other dishes that are so regular to me that maybe most people wouldn’t have known about,” she added.

Lichy also said she “loved” the writing process, which brought back memories of her late grandmother’s love for cooking.

Lichy’s book, “She’s a Host,” is available on October 28, 2025
