While also speaking of Sai De Silva‘s potential role in outing her boyfriend, Oliver Dachsel, as “Mr. Connecticut” and sharing what Oliver thinks of The Real Housewives of New York City, Ubah, 41, defended her Tina Turner-esque confessional look, explained why she shades her co-stars as “pigeons,” and answered a question about whether she was harboring resentment against Brynn, 37, from season 14.
“Absolutely not. No. I promise to God that’s not true. I don’t hold grudges to people. Me and [Erin Lichy] got in a fight, Sai and I … I don’t do that,” Ubah stated on the October 15 episode of WWHL.
Then, when she was further pressed about whether Jessel Taank, 44, was right to think that she lashed out at Brynn for outing her boyfriend, Oliver, aka “Mr. Connecticut,” last year, Ubah again insisted, “I swear to God it’s not [the reason].”
“I have text messages to prove it’s not true,” she alleged, proceeding to defend Sai’s role.
“And also, last season, Sai got it so bad,” Ubah continued. “Nobody really understood her, and I wanna clarify something: Everyone [thinks], ‘Why [am I] not mad at Sai?’ I shouldn’t be mad at Sai. I’m the one [who] told Sai. And when they say that Sai told them where he’s from, what’s his name … That’s not true. I never told any of that to Sai.”
When Ubah was questioned about what she thought when Brynn shaded Rebecca Minkoff‘s brand, stating that it’s available at Nordstrom Rack, Ubah threw the shade back at Brynn.
“I don’t trash people who have more money than me,” she noted.
Continuing to slam Brynn, Ubah explained her pigeon analogy against the cast.
“They all like carrier — they just carry messages like pigeons, but the problem is they have wrong addresses and they have amnesia, all of them,” she shared. “They forgot about everything. It’s so annoying.”
As for how Oliver feels about RHONY, Ubah said her partner is “very kind and supportive.”
“He loves the girls. He’s backstage. I talk about him a lot,” she revealed.
Moving on to her safe word, “pineapple,” Ubah admitted it was “very effective” before explaining how she thought of it.
“The beginning of the season I was just like, I need a little help. There’s eight coming around me,” she said. “But I don’t want to say that I don’t do that. Everyone in my life knows this. You guys gave me this job because of this: I go zero to 100 real quick. But I’m also very very down to earth. Listen, I don’t go along to get along.”
Also on the live broadcast, Ubah was questioned about her controversial confessional look.
“Guys, [in] real life, I looked amazing. It just didn’t really read properly,” she explained. “I think if I had a different outfit, like something that showed the t*ts, [covered] the hair, it maybe would’ve worked.”
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, after presenting Andy and her fellow guest, actress Christa Miller, 60, with pigeon stuffed animals and admitting she’d like to star on Peacock’s The Traitors, Ubah looked back on her recent outing with Erin, 37, Racquel Chevremont, 53, Sutton Stracke, 53, Garcelle Beauvais, 57, and Heather Dubrow, 55.
“It was amazing. Erin and Racquel went home early. I’m like, ‘I’m staying late,’” Ubah recalled. “They are obsessed with Oliver because they saw a video of him and me [on] Instagram and they’re like, ‘Does he have a brother?’”
“They are so much fun,” she added.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
