Just like clockwork, Erin Lichy has responded to Brynn Whitfield’s career shade. In case you missed it, Brynn went on a podcast and claimed to be the only Real Housewives of New York cast member with a full-time job.
Now, Erin has taken to her own podcast to defend herself. Both of these ladies want to prove that they’re working hard, just not when the Bravo cameras are following them.
Erin Lichy defends real estate career after RHONY co-star Brynn Whitfield shaded her
When Brynn made her comment about being the only RHONY cast member who “works a full-time job,” she topped off her message by taking direct shots at each of the cast members. She didn’t name names, but it’s not hard to pick out who she was referring to here.
“We have influencers, we have models, we have art curators,” Brynn remarked. “We have people that did work at J. Crew three years ago, but now they’re just, like, honorary positions. We have, like, a real estate agent that hasn’t sold a house in seven years.”
Of course, Erin heard about that. During a recent episode of her podcast, Come Together with Erin and Abe Lichy, she had a hard time understanding why Brynn would take the time to say all of that in the first place.
“People reached out to me to comment, and I just said no, because I don’t want to give her that. Which, by the way, I’m assuming that’s the reason why she was saying all that, to get the buzz,” Erin theorized.
Then, Erin shifted gears and proceeded to comment on it.
“First of all, I closed on something this summer that was over four million dollars, number one,” Erin revealed.
“Number two, I don’t talk about that because that’s just not who I am. I’m doing real estate transactions very quietly because it’s really not my main job right now,” she continued. “It’s not at all; it’s not where I’m going in my life. So, when I do a real estate transaction, I don’t talk about it.”
Meanwhile, Brynn claimed that she doesn’t talk about her job as a marketing consultant on camera because it’s “not glamorous.” Maybe these two have more in common than they think.
