The Season 9 reunion of The Real Housewives of Potomac was filmed on January 9 in NYC and that means that we have almost reached the end of another interesting season. And while backstage at the reunion, Mia Thornton apparently opened up about her current relationship status.
Throughout Season 9 of RHOP we have watched as Mia dealt with a divorce from her husband, Gordon, while also navigating her new(ish) relationship with her boyfriend Inc. However, since filming ended it seems that there has once again been a shift in her romantic life.
According to The Daily Dish, it seems that now Mia Thornton is a single lady. Speaking backstage at the reunion, Mia shared, "I'm a single girl. We'll see how this plays out. Never been single a day in my life until today."
While we were already aware of a separation between Inc and Mia thanks to a post she made to social media and some reports that had already begun to float around. This further confirms that not only did she and Inc break up, but she has not in fact gotten back together with her ex, Gordon, either.
Although I was actually surprised by Mia and Inc breaking up, her posts about it definitely cast doubt about her actual relationship status. So having her confirm that she is in her single girl era is definitely something we appreciate as fans of RHOP.
We are actually rather excited for a single Mia era. And we really hope that we get to see her living that single girl life during Season 10 of RHOP. It would be nice to see how she handles being on her own in terms of romantic relationships. Plus, this could be a good thing for her when it comes to handling her relationship with Gordon now that Inc is not in the picture.
Here's hoping we actually get a chance to see single Mia on RHOP, as I think it could be interesting to see how she handles the dating scene or if she chooses to embrace being single for a while.
