‘RHOP’ star Gizelle Bryant says Karen Huger is ‘running’ prison after her DUI case

   

The Grande Dame is still “running” things — even behind bars.

Gizelle Bryant said her “Real Housewives of Potomac” co-star Karen Huger is thriving in prison after her DUI sentencing.

“I have been in contact with someone that’s very close to her about her safety and all that,” she told host Andy Cohen on Sunday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”

“I have been in contact with someone that’s very close to her about her safety and all that,” she told host Andy Cohen on Sunday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”

“From what I understand, they love her up in where she is right now. They absolutely love her. They are loving the Grande Dame! And you know she’s running that thing,” the “Reasonably Shady” podcast co-host. 56, added.

“I feel very good about the fact that she’s safe.”

When Cohen asked Bryant if she had spoken to Karen’s husband following her incarceration, she replied, “Yes, and Ray [Huger] is still adjusting.”

“From what I understand, they love her up in where she is right now. They absolutely love her. They are loving the Grande Dame! And you know she’s running that thing,” the “Reasonably Shady” podcast co-host added.

When Cohen asked Bryant if she had spoken to Karen’s husband following her incarceration, she replied, “Yes, and Ray is still adjusting.”

Karen, 61, was found guilty of DUI in December 2024 after wrecking her Maserati in a high-speed crash earlier in the year.

At the time of the accident, the police body cam of the reality star’s arrest was released to the public, showing an inebriated Karen struggling to speak and even admitting to being “drunk” after the crash.

At one point, she even referred to herself as Thomas Jefferson’s “concubine” while sitting in an interrogation room with a police officer who asked her questions about the incident.

In December 2024, Karen was found guilty of DUI after wrecking her Maserati in a high-speed crash earlier in the year.

That same month, the police body cam of the reality star’s arrest was released to the public.

Karen spoke about the bodycam footage in an episode of “RHOP,” saying she initially refused to watch the footage.

“I’m sitting there in the courtroom, like, I have to finally watch it, because I kept saying, ‘Well, surely they made a mistake, right, because everything’s not connecting for me,’” she began telling Ray, 79, during the scene.

“And I watched, and I’m telling you, I didn’t recognize that woman,” she continued. “I didn’t know her.”

In the footage, an inebriated Karen struggled to speak and admitted to being “drunk” after the crash.

In February, the La’Dame fragrance owner was sentenced to a two-year prison term, with one year suspended.

Karen claimed that she “blacked out” before crashing her pricey vehicle on the side of a street.

Karen was immediately taken into custody by the police.
