She also said while she believed she was “making all the right decisions” regarding her family and her romance with Inc, she now realizes she was “going about it all wrong.” In addition, Thornton said she still considers Inc her “best friend.” She said, however, they do not “need to be in an intimate relationship” with each other.
Mia Thornton Mentioned She Has Not Yet Officially Divorced Her Estranged Husband
During a January 2025 interview on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” hosted by Bravo producer Andy Cohen, Thornton stated that she and Inc are no longer “together.” She suggested, however, that she would consider mending their romance.
“We are not [together]. Currently,” said Thornton during the interview.
She then shared that RHOP was one of the reasons they ended their relationship.
“Inc has worked really really hard for his reputation. And his career. He’s 20 years in as a syndicated radio personality. And he feels as though this platform is not necessarily — it doesn’t align with his brand,” said Thornton. “I respect that. Now, he’s my best friend. And he will forever be my best friend. Are we exclusive and are we dating? No. It has bridged a gap between us two, which is fine.”
She also noted that she is still legally married to Gordon Thornton.
“I need to get a divorce first. So we’re going to work on that. We’re going to focus on G. We’re gonna focus on the kids. And then, Inc, he’s not going anywhere. What’s meant to be is forever,” said Thornton while filming the “Watch What Happens Live” episode.
