RHOP’s Ashley Darby sings her new song at karaoke night in DC as listeners say she ‘sounds like a 6 year old’

Ashley, 36, put on a planned show for the crowd at a wellness event on Saturday, June 1, in Washington, D.C., to raise money for the National Brain Tumor Society.

Ashley Darby performed her new song Healing and Thriving at the GnA Fusion wellness event in Washington, D.C., on June 1

She had been promoting the fundraiser, co-hosted with her RHOP co-star, Gizelle Bryant, 53, on her platforms for weeks before the big day.

The event was titled GnA Fusion, also the name of the reality stars' recently launched fitness apparel line.

It offered a morning of various health and wellness activities, from yoga to HIIT classes.

Online press for the fundraiser noted that Bravo cameras would be filming the outdoor event, as their castmates Jaqueline Blake, 39, and Nneka Ihim, 36, also came out to show their support.

A source who attended GnA Fusion exclusively gave The U.S. Sun a rundown of the day, including a cringeworthy moment from one of its famous hosts.

They revealed that, at one point, Ashley got up on stage and sang her new song, Healing and Thriving, though it was far from what they expected.

NOT A FAN

"Ashley can't sing for s**t. It literally sounded like a 6-year-old at a karaoke bar," the insider said about the supposedly piercing performance.

The U.S. Sun exclusively obtained a video of Ashley singing at the event, donning short black shorts, a tiny white t-shirt, and sneakers while stomping her feet back and forth.

She belted out the lyrics and attempted to encourage the seemingly restless crowd sitting on the grass below to join in.

The star's new track is said to be about moving on from her split from her husband, Michael, two years after she announced their separation, which has yet to be finalized.

Despite Ashley's apparently brutal performance, the source revealed to The U.S. Sun that the ladies were very nice and they would return for the next event—as long as the Real Housewives star doesn't sing, that is.

However, many others had harsher words for the former Miss District of Columbia winner after similar videos of her performance surfaced on social media.

"This is killing me so bad," one person commented in an online thread where one video was shared.

"Who asked for this?" asked another, while a third called Ashley's routine "hilarious."

"Very generous to call this a song," a fourth sarcastically wrote.

"She sounds horrible per usual. Stop!" added a sixth.

In the comments of another video shared on the Queens of Bravo Instagram page, critics again attacked Ashley's singing.

"Please get your ears checked," one fan remarked, garnering dozens of likes.

"Y'all be trolling. Talking about this is good music," chimed in another.

Ashley first joined the franchise in January 2016.

She has since tried to use the exposure to help launch her singing career and other projects.

The Maryland native released her debut single, Coffee and Love, produced by her brother, in 2018.
