Season 1 of Love Hotel didn’t necessarily deliver a happy ending for Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant. She chose Dr. Theo Goff, but apparently, things fizzled out pretty quickly once they left Mexico.
Gizelle spilled the tea about what happened in an episode of her Reasonably Shady podcast with Robyn Dixon. This time, you didn’t even have to subscribe to a Patreon to hear it! The Potomac ladies dished on the Love Hotel finale, and Gizelle revealed how things actually turned into the “Ghost Motel.”

Gizelle Bryant was ghosted after Love Hotel
During the Love Hotel Season 1 finale, Gizelle wound up choosing Theo over Phil Westbrooks. On Reasonably Shady, Gizelle said she liked that Theo lived in New York City. She has a thing for guys from the Big Apple, after having previously dated Jason Cameron from Winter House. Just like her relationship with Jason, this connection faded away with time.
“After Love Hotel, me and Theo had made plans to do Halloween together,” Gizelle began, before noting how Theo “lost” his phone at some point.
“Now, mind you, the guys are all friends now, and they talk on a group chat like every day.” Gizelle continued. “Theo got himself out the group chat, or if I don’t know if he was in the group chat.”
First, he ghosted the other guys from Love Hotel. Then, it was Gizelle’s turn. She said she suddenly stopped hearing from him back in October 2024. They haven’t spoken since.
“Then he said he lost his phone, and then he found his phone,” Gizelle added. “But at that point, I was like, Theo, you can kick rocks, playa.”
After hearing that, Robyn had a theory about why Theo checked out the Love Hotel and never looked back. Perhaps he had a wife at home all along. At the bare minimum, maybe there was a girlfriend.
“He probably had an ex, like a girl at home that he was like, on again, off again with, back and forth,” Robyn suggested. “She saw him on TV and got all jealous and mad.”
That’s a valid theory, but what’s even stranger about Theo ghosting Gizelle is that he also ghosted on the production team. When it was time for the men of Love Hotel to do media training and press interviews, Theo was nowhere to be found. Thus, the Green-Eyed Bandits have nicknamed this the “Ghost Motel.”
