Has Katie Rost struck up a new romance with Monique Samuels‘ ex-husband, Chris Samuels? Her latest social media post certainly hints at such.

Just over a year after Monique, 40, filed for divorce from the 47-year-old former NFL player after 11 years of marriage and three children, the Real Housewives of Potomac alum, 44, shared a photo of the two of them looking cozy as she gushed over Chris in her caption.
“I flirt hard and when I see a good one I go for it … When Mr. S steps into the building … Katie says … Oh yes … he is such an incredible human,” Katie wrote with her August 29 post on Instagram, later adding, “Thanks for welcoming me back to Potomac.”
Needless to say, the image got the attention of Katie’s many fans and followers, some of whom shaded her as “messy” for linking up with the former spouse of her one-time castmate.
“Is that Chris Samuels??!!??” one person asked.
“Don’t get caught up in no mess girl! We got proof Monique can fight! Lolol,” wrote another, signaling Monique’s season five fight with Candiace Dillard-Bassett, 37, who coincidentally “liked” Katie’s pic.
“PLS RHOP bring Katie and Monique back I need this,” said another.
“He’s a single man if they get together what can anyone say?” someone else asked.
Earlier this year, while appearing on Fox 5 in Washington, D.C., Monique admitted that her exit from RHOP was the catalyst for her split from Chris.
“I would say that reality TV played a role in me waking up to who I am, and it was like the blinders were completely off and removed,” she explained. “I did not want to maintain this toxic environment that I had signed up for. So once you start ridding yourself of things that don’t serve you, it does spill off into your home as well. It starts exposing everything that you’ve been ignoring, and I started to realize the illusion I had created, even within my marriage.”
As RHOP fans will recall, Katie was featured on the first season in a full-time role, and she made a series of returns as a “friend” and guest in the years that followed. As for Monique, she was seen in a full-time position from season two to season five.
